Getaway were a pleasure to deal with. Timely and so courteous. I left my phone in the van on arrival and they were so helpful on returning to me with minimal delay. Will definitely use them next year

Brilliant van to explore bonnie Scotland. Van is easy to get use to and the instructions left are easy to follow. The owners have thought of everything, like a home from home.

Great trip on the West Coast! The getaway van was ideal for a trip over to the West Coast & Skye. Offers plenty room inside for comfortable living with all the facilities you need. Easy to drive and handled the winding and narrow roads with ease. Would recommend to anyone who was thinking of doing something similar!

From start to finish Mark was extremely helpful and kept us informed of everything to do with the hire of the van. The contact less handover went seamlessly and all the information was provided on the day that we needed to get our holiday off to a flying start. The van itself is extremely well laid out and has a vast amount of storage, More than you'll ever need for a week away in the Scottish Highlands. We found that most of the stuff we needed was provided and we managed to take a few extras that we thought we might need. There is an awning provided, but we didn't need it as we just decamped into the van if the weather turned, as there was more than enough space, even with the dog. All in all, a wonderful experience of campervan holidays, at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Booked the Getaway van for myself and my Dad to complete the NC500. The van was very clean and had excellent storage and was a nice vehicle to drive. The handover/takeover was very good and I received all the information required. We really enjoyed our trip and I would highly recommend Getaway vans. Very good value for money and also a very reasonable deposit that was refunded straight away by bank transfer

Great van! Everything you need for getting away wether it’s to a campsite or off the grid fully! Did both and absolutely great with the heating in the back!
Drives perfectly even with all the modifications to the back!
Deposit back in my account later the same day the van was returned!
Mark always on hand to drop a message for any questions with a quick response!
Definitely book again!

We had the most amazing trip in the getaway van. Service was great, contactless handover, kept in touch, on hand for questions we had. Van was perfect running order with everything we needed and we will 100% be returning customers.

We had a great time in the van for 3 nights. The van had everything we needed for cooking our meals, cleaning and had loads of storage for food, clothes and bits and pieces. There's a huge storage area in the back if you had sports equipment or were taking the van longer and needed more space. The van itself was easy to drive and such a fun experience. The owner answered questions about fitting our baby's car seat really quickly and provided loads of information before the stay and there was an info pack in the van as well. Self check in was easy and worked really well for leaving our car.

We initially booked Getaway vans for 4 nights over New Year. Not only was the booking great value for money but the booking process was very easy and quick. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip due to COVID restrictions, Mark was so responsive and had no issues refunding our trip. Would definitely recommend Getaway vans and will not hesitate to book our trip again when times allow.

I used Getaway vans for working out of town recently, as it’s very difficult to get accommodation at the moment I needed a place to stay while I was working on a few kitchen projects I had on the west coast. With the massive amount of storage in the back I was able to fill the storage compartment with all my tools and still have lots of room to spare. The vans great manoeuvrability meant I was able to drive right into the building site to unload my tools before parking it in a safe place to stay by the job overnight. Functional thermostat heating system it was one of the most comfortable camping experiences I have probably ever had. I will be using again for holidays and for more jobs in the future. Couldn’t fault one thing. 10/10

I highly recommend Getaway Vans. It was the most perfect way to do the NC500, the trip was a great experience start to finish. The van is very spacious, clean & cosy - we did a contactless handover which worked very well. 10/10

Loved my experience with the getaway van! We hired the van for 3 nights and did a very fast paced nc500 trip.

The van is so spacious and super comfortable yet not too big to drive easily. Inside the van there is more than everything you would need.. electricity, with optional plug in when visiting campsites, heating that runs off the diesel (which we didn’t use.. even in Oct!), gas hob and everything you need for cooking is provided. Inside the van there is a seated dining area for two, pull out double bed lots of kitchen cupboard space as well as a huge boot space.. way more space than I anticipated!

We did a no fuss contactless pick up & drop off (v covid friendly). Everything about our hire was perfect I would recommend this a millllion times over to anyone looking for a different holiday.

Good all round experience and good facilities in the van.
