!!! SCAM !!!

I came across this webshop through a scammy ad promoting a high-quality speaker for a suspiciously low price (around €10). I decided to give it a shot—thankfully using a disposable virtual card. It turns out I wasn’t paying for the speaker, but for their "3-day VIP membership," which automatically renews once the period expires—this time at a higher price (about €20).

This membership supposedly gives access to discount vouchers for advertised products, but even those might not be available—as was the case with the speaker I was originally interested in. The membership can only be cancelled by explicitly emailing their support, and even then, there's a 14-day notice period, meaning you’ll likely get charged at least once more.

After threatening legal action and referencing the scam ad that led me there, they finally agreed to cancel my membership and refund the charge. Warning: After signing up, I also started receiving phishing emails and even scam SMS messages. If you're based in the EU, I highly recommend requesting the deletion of all your personal data under GDPR. Just cancelling your membership does not mean they won’t still hold or misuse your information.

Proceed with extreme caution.

UPDATE:
As it turns out, the company is now requesting a positive review in exchange for the refund—yes, really. They even told me this directly. A support agent named Kai specifically asked to be mentioned in the review. Make of that what you will.

Reviews with 4/5 stars are written as…

Reviews with 4/5 stars are written as that’s how this company do business. You are promised a refund if you write a good review and mention the name of the person dealing with your case. If you don’t write a good review, you don’t get your refund. I have email proof of same. SCAM, Avoid.
