I purchased a package of the 18 hour because I had used them once while playing golf a few years ago and it worked well and helped me get thru an 18 hole tournament on a very cold day. The ones I got last year and tried to activate the other day would not heat up. Not sure if there is a shelf life on these but all I can say is when they heat up they are wonderful but when they do not heat up it is just a waste of money.

I went on the website, after seeing the TV advertisement (on a Sunday) and put in an order for 2 (two) pairs of gloves (that is, 4 actual gloves) for $10 and $6.99 S&H. While I was putting in the order, they asked if I wanted another pair (that is, one other pair, or 2 more gloves) for an addition $10 without an additional shipping charge. I consented, and put my credit card information in. Then when I consented to the extra pair, they placed the oder without letting me confirm the amounts to be charged - suddenly, the confirmation of the order revealed that they were charging me over $60 for the order. So, an order which should have cost $20 plus shipping was put into the credit card as over $60. I called the number, and the woman on the phone told me I should call the customer service department - not telling me that the customer service department was only open Mon through Fri during working hours, when I can not call! I told her I wanted to cancel the credit card charge but she gave me no satisfaction.
