I used this company to move a 17th century 4 poster bed which was a tricky job to get into a conventional house.
I must say the helpfulness and politeness of this company and driver was just excellent. So I must say ' WELL DONE! you guys, brilliant job!

Booked for midday on moving day. After waiting an hour I called and they said hey could be there maybe 2.30pm or 3pm and that I should have either booked the morning or the afternoon. So my fault then. Had the embarrassment of waiting on the drive with my stuff as the new owners of the house arrived and had to get another company to save me.

I am very pleased with the service. Both staff were very approachable and helpful, with very good attitude towards work. They were struck with difficulties in regards to parking but did not complain and just get on with work. Always with a very pleasant attitude.

My aunt commented the same about her experience with them as boxes and items were delivered to her place for storage. She even asked me the company name so in future she would be able to contact them for removals.

My friend had an unusual job of relocating a very heavy ancient olive tree through a house into the back garden. I had several quotes from various companies including specialist tree movers but decided to go with Get Man and Van as their detailed questioning about the location and potential obstacles, as well as thoughtful ideas of how to protect the tree branches was impressive. They also offered an extremely competitive price. The office staff were incredibly efficient, professional and thorough in their preparation from start to finish, answering my many queries with intelligent responses. The guys arrived on time and were absolutely brilliant, and thankfully immensely strong. They efficiently and carefully carried out the job, which was no simple feat due to the height of the tree and its weight, getting it through doorways and even up some steps. I doubt very much if other removal companies would have had men strong enough for this job or even been willing to try. My friend and I were very impressed with the way the two men handled the job. The tree looks fantastic in its new home and I will definitely be recommending Get Man and Van to friends.

Tony and his partner were exceptional removal people. They were professional, kind, accomodating to all requests and very patient. It was a stressful day for us but they stayed calm and worked extremely hard. We came across a few problems and again they were patient, professional and very helpful. A big thank you to both of them!

Fantastic. Highly recommend these guys. Everything was quick smooth and easy which was much appreciated in my house move. They lifted a very heavy superking mattress up tiny stairs in no time at all, and all my things were perfectly intact. Prompt and friendly, so would definitely use them again should I need. The two men that came looked polite and focused on the job at hand. All looked great at the start. I had quite a number of items to move. Soon I noticed a trend of the guys slowing down. One worked harder than the other. If not for him, they would have spent much longer time moving the items.

Having shown them all items that needed moving, any experienced mover would have an idea how to organize their own vehicle in order to accommodate everything.

These guys opted to take moments discussing things. Even worse was that they spoke in their own language, despite being able to clearly understand and speak English.

If you are looking for a helper for your move, then these guys are good for that. I was expecting them to move furniture and on time. It was clear that because the initial quotation given is only for 3hrs, they then charge £60 per extra hour. This is where they make their money.

As a family, we decided to stop other activities we would have focused on but to help them move more stuff out of the old property and in to the new one. This meant that we could dictate the pace.

They subsequently played a different card, claiming that they can't fill the vehicle due to weight limit. This meant that they had to do a second trip. I was fortunate enough that I was not moving far, I wonder what would have happened if I was moving to a place more than an hour away.

To be fair, most of my items arrived safely. Only one was chipped.
If you have no budget restrictions, these guys will always be good for that.

Would I recommend them? - only for few items that can be done within 3hrs. You would receive good value for your money.

Will I use them again? - no.

Very happy with this company. Prompt and helpful communications from start to finish. They were always on hand when I called with a couple questions. Reasonable price and good value for money. The two removal guys came right on time and were very friendly and helpful. Unpacked everything and even opened the garden shed and put my lawn mower and tools inside. Would definitely use again.

I used their moving service earlier this week, 2 men and a van.

Customer service was great: super fast in communications and a pleasure to deal with.

The movers came on time, were super efficient, professional, and moved all of my stuff with care.
All of my stuff including 15 houseplants made it to my new home safely!

Overall extremely good service will be definitely using them again in the future and would highly recommend them!

Great communication booking it in. We needed a few items picked up at different places and the crew were timely, efficient and careful moving things. Great service thank you.

DO NOT BOOK these people. After receiving confirmation email of my booking and speaking to them on the phone to confirm, they did NOT show up!!!! I had to call and ask where they were and they said that they had some issues with the computer so the driver did not get my pick up address. They offered to help us out two days later.... Do I need to say more!! We were then stranded with all our things at 1pm on a Saturday and was lucky to find an available van to rent nearby.

Customer service awful and not a reliable company. Book someone else and save your money!!!!

Genuinely brilliant experience. Very easy to book and the guys who came to help the job were extremely efficient and looked after my items brilliantly. They didn't care about the number of items, they were happy to move everything that they could in the time I had booked, and moved far more than the number of items I originally specified.

I will definitely use them again.

Amazing service. Kept fully informed of time of collection and drop off. Kept the schedule punctual and everything was packed professionally.

The actual move was great and very efficient. They provide assembling services at very reasonable rates. Unfortunately, Post move I noticed that something was missing from my new property. I waited until I had completely unpacked the new home and checked everywhere for my portable music system. It was no longer in the property. When I called the company they weren't particularly helpful although its fair to say there isn't much they could do. They questioned why I hadn't called before and didn't really understand the logic of not jumping to conclusions and unpacking and double checking before contacting them. The customer support was poor and they couldn't wait to get me off the phone. Maybe going cheaper isn't always the best way.
