I have no idea how Mozo was installed…
I have no idea how Mozo was installed as a Chrome extension. When I open Gmail it pops up a message that it detected a threat, and when I click on "More Details" it takes me to a site and requests that I login to my Google account. I have BitDefender installed, which doesn't warn me about any threat, and I trust it. So, Mozo gives fake alerts as far as I'm concerned.
EDIT: Since Mozo posted here the email they sent me, I will also post my reply to them:
"Although I am not familiar with Mozo, I respect your product's certifications and credentials. Nevertheless, if it's not clear to the user that he/she is opting in to its installation, I can only react negatively. Especially, since my experience with it is that it pops up a warning about a threat, and after clicking on "Details" it asks to log in to Google, instead of providing the details. I find this an unacceptable behavior for software, even though I believe that you have very good reasons for adopting such a course of action."
