Disgraceful service

This company should remove the "One Hour Service" claim from their website. They were due to come out on Saturday morning - when I called at 3 p.m. to ask where they were, I was told that the engineer had called in sick, but had left a message on my answerphone to advise me of this. I'd been sitting next to the phone from 6 a.m. that morning and no call was received, or message left.
I was booked in for a priority Monday morning service as a way of apology.
At 11 a.m. on Monday I called to ask when I could expect the engineer, I was told within the hour, I was next on his list.
At 3 p.m. I rang to say I wasn't happy that I was still waiting, the operator took my number and said the engineer would call me with an update, but couldn't say when.
By 4 p.m. I gave up and booked another company and cancelled this one.
Disgraceful service.

I did receive an apology call from the engineer - whilst I do appreciate that, and understand that personal circumstances can often interfere with work schedules, that still doesn't excuse someone not phoning me to apologise and say the appointments couldn't be met. It took leaving a one star review for a call to be made to me - then I was asked if I'd consider changing my review and allowing them to reschedule. Sorry no. Too little, too late.

Avoid at all cost!

Back in February we had an engineer out after we lost signal. I was told i needed a new aerial and cables as the had been damaged when we had the loft boarded. 2 months later we cancle our sky multiroom and find we lost all signal to all tvs in the house. After making a call for an engineer to come out ne finally arrived three days later. Jamie was the engineer who came and was fantastic. He explained what the problem was, basically the previous engineer had run everything through the sky box, replaced an aerial that didnt need replacing ( whichbhe checked as it had been left in the loft) and said everything needed to be put back to how it was before the last engineer arrived. He rang his boss as he didnt think i should have to pay anything. The company however said i need to pay at least half! The engineers work on commission so its in their interest to sell you thing you dont need rather and address the problem.

Great job Brendan, thank you for sorting the kids tv's

Had Brendan and Glyn out to our house today to give us a quote for a new Aerial for the twins birthday TV's. Didn't realise you guys have everything you need to do it all straight away it was a god send. Brilliant job, great price and so tidy, apart from the TV's working and a shiny new aerial on the roof, you wouldn't now you had been here. My wife says thanks for emptying the hoover ha ha.

Warning: Using this company could seriously damage your wealth.

After moving into a house where the TV aerial did not work I made the unfortunate mistake to use this company to fix the problem. After fitting a new aerial I was told that an amplifier needed to be fitted. This was done, they charged me £140 for the amplifier alone, which I thought expensive. Being concerned about the cost I looked into the matter further. I found that I could buy the exact same make and model of the amplifier for less than £10. I wrote to the company to ask them to justify the £140 charge (compliant in writing as per their T&C's). Letter sent recorded delivery, I have proof it was delivered and signed for by the company. I guess it will come as no surprised that they failed to respond .The amplifier took less than five minutes to fix.
I also found out that the mains powered amplifier should be fixed to a solid surface and should not be in contact with soft furnishings or carpets, this outfit left it on the carpet behind the TV. Presumably if it faults it could overheat and may cause a fire.
I wish I had read these reviews before using this company, they seem to have previous history for grossly overcharging.
The only recommendation I can give about this company is to stay well clear of them.

Awful service and lack of response to complaint - go elsewhere!

An engineer arrived to fix the interference with the sky signals to the tvs upstairs. After 15 mins he said that he had fixed the repairs but later that night the problem was still the same.

I also found out the following day that this engineer also choose to throw the sharp pieces of wire and connectors he had replaced, onto the road outside my house, next to my car tyres!

Since then I have called the company 7 times requesting a refund and not managed to speak to a manager in charge. My original repair was on the 8th July!

The response by this company is totally and utterly fabricated. Why do I feel that the company are to blame?... They did not fix the problem that I have paid them to do!!!

No member of staff has previously spoken to me and no one has ever advised me that extra parts were required.

I just called the company and finally managed to speak to the office and requested a full refund yet again. They said that he had no idea who had even responded to this post!

Please DO NOT USE this company unless you want to waste your time and your money.

Update: on the 10th phone call now to get a refund. Took 3 calls just to get the office address as it's not on their website anywhere.

Our records indicate you haven't actually paid for any work to be carried out only the standard diagnostic charge with no parts fitted ? Our engineer reported he identified an issue with equipment not supplied by us and we are unsure why you feel we are to blame ? A manger has also spoken with you on numerous occasions to advise there would be additional costs to replace parts which you refuse to pay. I am not sure how you would like us to resolve this issue when we haven't actually supplied or fitted anything at your property ?

Excellent service

I called this company to come and fit my Mother-in-Law a new aerial in her new property. I called them at lunchtime expecting it to be a couple of days before they could come and sort her out. By 6:30pm, she was settling down with a nice brew, enjoying her favourite shows. Karl was our engineer, and I couldn't have asked for a better person. He was friendly and polite and cleaned up what little mess he made. Thanks guys

Hard working engineer

We had Carl come and fit an aerial in our loft in Saltney, Chester. He came across a few problems and had to come back the next day. He worked extremely hard and was always on the other end of the phone reassuring us that he would resolve everything. He's just left and the TVs are all on and working. He was determined to ensure our satisfaction and a positive end result. Really hard working guy. Natalie and Emma

Excellent Service

A friendly engineer called Malcolm visited me today to resolve an issue with my TV reception, He arrived when he said he would and resolved everything in about 45 minutes. Very happy with the service.

Rapid response

I rang on a Friday lunchtime needing a quick installation (before Sunday) and it was completed before the end of the day! A great response with good advice, a neat and effective installation and a good tv picture!

great and very fast service

I had just moved in to my new family home and needed my tv sorting in all of the rooms aswell as a new aerial, any tv in the house would of been great, so i found several companys who couldnt get to me for aslong as 2-3 days :( ,so i was told about a company from my new neighbour and so i called tv aerials fixed fast and within 1hr they were at my door and all i can say is great service,presentation and work, highly recommended to any body who needs something done quick,tidy and most of all reasonablly cheap. :) :) 10/10 (the kids were happy)

Avoid at all costs

I recently moved into a new house and when I moved in the tv was not working and I couldn't work out why not. I called a company to investigate and they obviously subcontracted it out to this company. Someone turned up and within minutes he told me the aerial was badly corroded and so was the signal amplifier. He said I needed a new aerial and amplifier. He also recommended that I should upgrade to 4G. I am not technically minded so I agreed to the work which he quoted £600. I thought this was high but agreed to it. He completed this work in less than 1 hour and left. When my partner came home from work he inspected the old aerial and connections and they showed no sign of corrosion. He also checked the prices of the parts online and you could buy them for less than £100 - so £500 for installation - wow!! Then coincidentally the previous owner of the house contacted me to say that the removal company had taken the power supply to the signal amplifier in error. I asked him about the picture quality and he said it was perfect the day they left. After complaining directly to the company and getting no response I took legal action and successfully won a small claim judgement. However, the company failed to pay the judgement value by the due date and I have now taken further legal action to recover the money owed to me.

We offered a considerable amount of FREE extras as a gesture of good for failing to respond to your complaint in a timely manor which you have still failed to claim. Please can you contact our office to arrange these additional extras at no cost to yourself and accept our offer of additional FREE Lifetime warranty. We have also responded to your county court claim which you have also failed to follow through. We are sorry you had a bad experience and would like the opportunity to make it right.
