This website is a scam selling fake Jellycats. Before seeing these reviews I ordered a Bartholemew bear strawberry for my daughter’s birthday. I paid £39 only to be sent a fake Bear which is very poorly made with ‘cute doll’ written on the tag. I am reporting their website to the genuine Jellycat site and am going to contact my bank to see if I can get a refund.
The company call themselves Plushies Paradise, avoid at all costs. The website is very convincing and looks legit but it definitely is not.
Fake Jellycats
Fake Jellycats. Shipped from China, made in China. They price similar to actual Jellycats to draw you in. And are labelled as jellycat. Materials are nowhere near as good. They're not based in US as advertised (China) and don't respond to any emails. I'd avoid like the plague! charge back through bank a
Fake Jellycat
Fake Jellycat - I ordered 3 items, only received 2, no JC label looked like something you’d win in a fairground and obviously fake. As previous reviewer has said has set up website as if coming from NY, in reality shipping from China to a warehouse in the West Midlands. Chargeback on credit card, informed Action Fraud, written to Jellycat directly to provide the address of warehouse goods being sent from and found owner of company from Gov Companies House. Hopefully they’ll get shut down and prosecuted soon
Beware - fake jellycats!
I ordered a Jellycat Bartholomew strawberry bear from this website (supposedly in USA). When it arrived it was clearly fake. Costume was not removable and everything looked wrong. The name on the label said ‘cute doll’?
The reviews must also be fake as there isn’t even an option to leave a review.
Luckily I paid through PayPal so I was able to get a refund without any problem.
