When my family saw the advertisement…false advertising using Ai generated imsges

When my family saw the advertisement for Wuffy we were thrilled with it!! So cute. My 89 year old mother wants one and I also ordered one for my 4 year old granddaughter.
When the product arrived I was very dissatisfied, firstly it was much smaller and definitely not as amazingly functional as the ads, which were truly lifelike.
We now realize that the ads were AI generated. I view this as false advertising. I would like a refund and also to be reimbursed for any cost to ship this product back to you.

Afraid the Wuffy Dogs supplied recently…

Afraid the Wuffy Dogs supplied recently (March 2026) were not up to expectations and not as details advertised and the animated film sequences shown on line. You cannot ask the dog to sit as hinted on advert as I understood. Toy dog does not bark but squeaks, movement is not dog-like either and reminds me of the very old toys of many past years. I realise on receipt these are not suitable for the gifting that I anticipated. Sorry to say I was very disappointed.
I am requesting a refund therefore from supplier.
Wuffy-Customer Service have been efficient with my enquiries to date.

My order ID98FDC15F..while watching your promotional video my granddaughter just love it since they're not allowed to have real pets at home..and without hesitation I ordered her 3 wuffy dogs to surprise her but I was so disappointed after receiving it since it's totally different and for these toys we can easily get it anywhere in Hongkong for just HK $30 and I payed $612 for 3..I was expecting an AI puppy not a battery operated dogs...I would be appreciated if you refund my order and tell me how to send you back these toys..Thank you and highly appreciated your help..

Warnung!!!!⚠️ don‘t buy this terrible toy

Sorry, of i could rate less points I would. No competent reaction of any complain I sent. It is total different to the advertisment. Wuffy isn‘t interactive, it doesn‘t react one anyone. It only walks clumsily and barks terrible and you get mad of it. It isn‘t a toy for the whole family as you promised. It is built with cheap plastic, the tongue and eyes are fixed - no reaction. Wuffy isn‘t able to show further skills from the Package. I spent my money for a scam. I told you over and over that it is a dangerous toy for the kids because you can‘t shut the box where the batteries are in. In no time I get an answer to that great issue. Furthermore the delivery arrived late and the package was damaged. No reaction from the support. I‘m really very angry and demand again for a Repayment. Wuffy is a messy and really cheap stuff.

I was completely and utterly disappointed it was not what the ad had led me to believe

The product was entirely something different than what I seen in the yard entirely different and I would be awfully embarrassed to give those away as a gift as I was planning in the mechanics of it is just awful I mean is very cheaply constructed and the fur does not look realistic like in the ad and it is way smaller than what the width showing and I just was so sadly disappointed I really had high hopes for this

Wuffy dogs shown on TV after Complaints

I saw on tv that these ‘Wuffy’ dogs have had Many complaints in that they are Nothing like they are advertised to be. It showed the dogs as they Truly are, which look very cheap, can see immediately that they are toys and look Nothing like those advertised 😫

Like so many other customers of this product I ordered one pup from the company and then an advertisement popped up and asked if you wanted further pups I didn’t want any but somehow I got another two pups added to my bank account when I tried to cancel the order I was told I couldn’t because it had been dispatched this was within 30 seconds of me realising what had happened yes this is a scam and refund what refund you can only put it down to experience because this company will not accept that they have failed the customer, indeed the latest one is to tell you that they can’t find the order although they will have a record of you’re transaction.

Soooo disappointed SCAM!!!! I'm sure this review will never be seen I'm sure. I purchased 2 "puppies" for my grandchildren and one of the them is non verbal autistic. I thought this would be the perfect gift from Nana. Too bad it was nothing like advertised. So small and just chirps. Please beware 🙁

Prompt Initial Response to my Request

I was pleased to receive a prompt reply concerning my need to return the item, but did not realise that completion of a survey was required for the return to be activated.

Hi I’m so dissatisfied with the product ordered first of all I was charged twice then the product arrived and instead of what I was promised an interactive dog that I thought would be great for my residents I received tiny small noisy yapping play dogs that were so far away from what I was showed on line . Your Wuffy dog is worthless. Your company is deceptive regarding this dog! It’s cheap. And NOTHING like what’s on commercial. You should be ashamed. The dog does nothing whatsoever.
