Wish I'd read the trustpilot reviews before ordering. It's been about 10 weeks now.
I wouldn't mind if these clothes where cheap OR if the company kept you in the loop about why/what was taking so long.

I finally received my purchase today. I actually can't remember how many weeks it's been. A lot. So many I had forgotten all about it.
Frustratingly the items are pretty well made and my only gripe is that the actual material feels very polyester-y. Zipper, clasps and seams all look pretty robust, it fits. There's a couple loose threads here and there.
It's annoying because had I received this item in a reasonable timeframe I would have had no issues.
Like, the quality of the items make me think not a scam, but if that's the case why the wait? Or why not advertise the wait appropriately? Glitters for dinner are you okay?

I waited over 5 months for an order. I wrote several e-mails. I wanted to report a scam but finally the package arrived. I had to pay for the duty. not worth it. nice dress, as described, but I will never buy anything there again.

I ordered a set last year in January. It is now March the following year and I haven’t received the package. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! They are nothing but a scam! It has been over a year later and I’ve received absolutely nothing.

I ordered a skirt in late July/early June and it arrived in late September. I had lost hope that it would come and thought I had been scammed. It did come eventually and was of very good quality; it fit as was stated and I'm glad to have the original design in my closet. So overall what came was good but the shipping time made the experience quite unpleasant for me.

Cute unique clothing but they DO NOT respond to emails/ questions about your order. I sent an email in July (it’s now September) and no response. Sent an email requesting an estimated delivery date again and no answer. Their website says an order can take 7 weeks to create and deliver. This timeframe has passed by a few weeks and I haven’t received anything!

Such a shame because now I won’t be purchasing from them anymore.

September 4th, 2019: So I finally recieved my order after almost seven months.... The clothes are cute and seem well made but for the price and the long time for it to arrive it's not worth it...

Update: I tried to contact them but they straight up ignored me. At this point I'm gonna say this site is an absolute scam. Don't waste your money on them!

May 23, 2019: Ordered on the 28 february and never received anything I ordered. I was aware that it said to be shipped in 4 to 5 weeks but it was been almost three months now. Very dissapointed!

I am from the UK and I have ordered from Glitters For Dinner on 4 separate occasions, my first order a single dress, my second 3 dresses, my third a pinafore and my fourth a dress custom order. All my items arrived within the weeks stated that it would take with the exception of my second order that took 2 weeks extra because of Christmas which is perfectly understandable, and my fourth order which was a custom order that had to be made from scratch took around 4 months to arrive since it took about 2 months to be made and there were a few delays as I was told by staff. I have received all items as pictured and requested! Really cute and comfortable clothing! Whenever I have messaged them about queries regarding my orders I have always received responses either within a day or a couple of days and I always been reassured that I would get what I ordered and I always have. Communication was a bit laggy when I made a custom order I first messaged when 6 weeks was up and the dress was still being made which was fine I was just worried about it getting lost in the post, then after 8 weeks I messaged again and it was close to completion, after 2 months it was on it's way to me then when it didn't show after 3 months I got worried and messaged and the responses took longer and I would sometimes wait a week before sending my message again then after sending the same message twice I would get a response and I was told not to worry as my custom made dress was on it's way and wasn't lost and took longer to be shipped than previously stated, they would always give me arrival estimates which were not met due to delays in the postage system which is out of their hands anyway, but then when it was about 4 months in with no arrival I messaged and was told that it was within 3-4 days of being delivered and voilà it showed up 3 days later. My custom dress is exactly what I asked for and I am so very happy with it! Glitters For Dinner followed my instructions perfectly. All my other orders as I stated previously have always shown up within the stated time range and are as pictured. I'm very happy with GFD's service and adorable clothing and I would order from them again! My advice to people ordering from them is to have patience since they do state arrival estimates on each item and most items take 4-6 weeks to arrive sometimes a bit longer depending on quantity of items ordered and season (my second order was around Christmas so took 8 weeks to arrive instead of 6 and consisted of 3 items) and customs take longer than 6 weeks especially if you are switching a pattern and size length to a style that doesn't come in the design requested. My custom order was the Annabelle Dolly Dress with the blue gingham from the Coraline Babydoll Dress, size UK 10 with the length of a UK size 12, just to let people know about what I requested via GFD customization order. Thanks very much GFD!!

I ordered two items on July 15, 2018, totaling over $125. Almost SIX months later, I have received nothing. Multiple emails and requests for refund have been ignored. This company is a total scam and is simply stealing money. Beware!

I just ordered a dress from them recently and I adore it! It came even sooner than I anticipated ( about 6 weeks, but well worth the wait ) and it was exactly as pictured and fit like a glove! It seems to be of good quality and I have absolutely no complaints. I can't wait to order from the again <3

After 3 months I still haven't received my order and I'm my emails are being ignored. Highly doubt I'll get a refund after paying 69 dollars for a tartan set.
Very disappointed.

Have waited since April on my item & still no sign despite the website saying orders take 4-5 weeks and an absolute maximum of 7 lol it is now 11 weeks and still no sign of order. I emailed after 7 weeks & was told “please allow another 7 days” and have been told this every 7 days for the past 4 weeks with no sign of compensation from this company lol
