THIS SITE IS A SCAM.
My order was initiated on 12/29/15. I sent a $200 gift card for which I was promised in writing a $170 check. Seemed easy enough. My first payment was supposedly issued on 1/18/16 (by an external payment processing center). No check received. My second check (an "internal re-issue") was supposedly issued on 2/10/16. It is now 2/18/16 and I'm still waiting. I honestly feel that this company is a scam. I've just submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau -- I demand the check that was promised to me. Right now, this is looking like a ponzi scheme of sorts -- it's theft, plain and simple.

Do not use this company, SCAM,
I shipped gift cards, totaling $1,400 & they received them 12/16/15. Website says "checks are scheduled to be paid 2 days after receiving the gift cards" but that's just a joke! I've had to call them, email and use FB to get a response but it always was for nothing. They block/erase FB comments when you question them. They NEVER answer the phone and the customer service that says they reply within 1 business day is a laugh as well. I still have emails from December they never replied to. If you are lucky enough to get an email reply, it's weeks later if at all.
The customer service on the phone always had the same excuse, there was an issue but it's been resolved and wait a week then call back. I got that from them for 5 straight weeks. Now, finally on Feb 3, 2016 I get email my check has been mailed. But it's been over 2 weeks and it hasn't arrived. I've spoke to several people who had exact same problems and check never shows. They are then told they have to wait 3 wks to reissue a new check. Which I think is all a lie, it's just excuse by them to drag out payments. How does this happen to multiple people after having the same experience waiting months to get paid?
I believe Gift Card Rescue intentionally blows off emails & calls to extend the time they have to pay for the gift cards. It's the old "check is in the mail" excuse I've heard many times as a past business owner.
Worse is there's nothing I can do except saying stop the sale where I would have to mail them a self addressed stamped envelope to mail them back to me. Based on everything else they do, that would take well over a month. Then I've wasted the last 3 months for nothing. I have a bad feeling my check won't arrive either, then I'll get same excuse as many others. That it mysteriously got lost in the mail and they have to wait several more weeks to send out another check which then takes 3 weeks to arrive. I've used other gift card sites in the past and got checks in 2 weeks! That includes mailing mine to them, getting verified and sending payment to me.

good
Good but shipping sometime slow or there's no other option except rush delivery which cost ~$4.
Seriously? Treat your customers the way you would like to be treated.
Sent a gift card last week with tracking number from USPS.
USPS said GiftCardRescue.com received the card on 2/11.
I received an email today from GiftCardRescue.com stating that they are still waiting for my gift card. Is that a joke or what? Then I tried to phone them on the 2 numbers indicated. Could not get in touch with anyone. They are not even answering. This is not acceptable. I am expecting them to come back to me ASAP.

Terrible customer service and zero response
I purchase an electronic gift card and the balance was incorrect. I contacted customer service the same day I received the gift card. No response. I kept emailing and calling for a week. Finally they sent me a form to fill out to receive a refund. A month later, I still never received the refund. I had to file a dispute with my credit card to get my money back. If you want to buy gift cards, go through giftcardzen.com. They are 1000 times better!

promotions not worthwhile
In general the company is ok but their promotions aren't worthwhile for the most part. In stead of having a promotion discounting certain cards by X%, they require you to spend a pretty significant amount and the percentage is way too small as an incentive on top of that. For example one just cam in yesterday which required a $1000 buy but the promotion only discounted it by $25 which hardly made it worth pushing the envelope!

SHADY COMPANY!
I sold a giftcard to this company on 12/14/2015, it is now 2/18/2016 and I have still not received my payment! I have tried contacting them multiple times. After the first month of waiting and pulling teeth to try and get ahold of someone I was told they did not receive my gift card, then a few hours later, I got an automated email saying congratulations we received your gift card and check will be mailed. One month after that I still haven't received a check, so I try contacting them again and am told they had a system error and need to reissue the check. It is now about 3 weeks after that I still I have no check. I have tried calling, emailing, facebooking and they refuse to respond so they are obviously keeping my giftcard, not paying me, and just ignoring me now. As I have stated to them through multiple forms of communication multiple times, if i do not receive payment or my giftcard returned with the full balance I am reporting them to the better business bureau and more. There are so many better giftcard exchange websites out there, to anyone looking to buy or sell giftcard I truely urge you to go elsewhere and not let this shady company rip anyone else off.
THIS IS TOTALLY A SCAM FOR M7V9
PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR GIFT CARDS FOR CASH TO THIS COMPANY. I sent my gift card on December 21. As of this date (2/18) I have not received my cash. I'm certain the great responses you've read are their own reviews. I feel really STUPID for sending my gift card, which I received as a Christmas gift. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SEND IN YOUR GIFT CARDS. If anyone is reporting this scam, I would also like to be included in your suit. The person on Shark Tank who also helped this individual (Kwame) to start up this company should certainly come forward and reimburse the individuals who were scammed. Shame on these people.
2/23/16 -- It's been 2-1/2 months and I have not received my cash. They even sent me an email asking for the address to send my cash. I replied and NOTHING. I also gave them my reference number of M7V9. I am working with the post office regarding mail fraud on their part. This company should be shut down! Yes, they're getting rich off people like myself and to those of you who send in gift cards for cash.
2/23/16 -- Thank you Allison Goldsmith. You're a gem. After seeing your review, our local news has the same format where they will try contacting the company. Great idea.
3/10/16 -- FINALLY I RECEIVED MY CHECK, but I will never use them again. Took them over 2 months to send to me. Sell or buy at your own risk. I actually contacted our local TV station who has someone who will look into problems--Call Curtis. Two days later I received my check so I cancelled my appt. Good luck.
So far so good.
Everything has been fine on my first few orders. I wish there were more cards available and I wish I could also purchase e gift cards. Not sure why I can't.

Horrible!
Sent giftcard 3 weeks ago, and still have not received check. I have only gotten canned responses from the customer support. I will be reporting to the BBB. Horrible scam.

Too long of delivery for ecards
The site is good. Haven't had problems with cards but the time it takes to deliver ecards is long. Most other sites have a same day turnaround

Good, but promises lots, provides less
I do like to purchase the cards, and find I save money. So it's a great service, but......Too often they run out of stock within minutes, especially of WalMart cards. Then they have more the next day....and run out. Then more the next day, and they sell out. Perhaps they should aggregate more stock before advertising.
They frequently offer an extra amount off of purchases, so you open the email to find that it is a minimum of $1000 purchase. I guess some people do purchase $1,000 or more at a time.

wonderful!
Price is great, actualy it is better than most of other sites that sell similar giftcards. The cards arrived as scheduled. So far everything worked nicely!

Sloooow customer service
Process to reimburse bad giftcards too lengthy. Took four weeks to get a credit on my credit card after seeing card was considered invalid by store.

Sent in Cards but Never Got Paid
Gift Card Rescue has had my two gift cards for two months and I still have not received a check. Do not send them your cards, this is some kind of scam!
I spoke with their "customer service" department on January 28, 2016 and was given three different excuses in a two minute time period as to why my check had not been mailed. Finally received an email six days later, supposed to be a 48 hour turnaround, saying a replacement check had been issued. 16 days after that, another email stating that my check had been cashed. Impossible since I've never received a check from them.
I repeat, don't send them your gift cards if you actually want to be paid for them.

The worst experience imaginable.
I don't often write bad reviews of companies or products because I'm usually able to resolve the situation on my own and quietly move on, but simply avoiding the company or service in the future. However, with Giftcardrescue, I am really beating my head against the wall, so here goes:
Sold gift cards to them on December 17. It is now February 16. After 8-10 calls to customer service, I was informed that a check was mailed to me, in Boston, on January 27.
Again: Sold on December 17. Check mailed January 27. Today is February 16. Still no check.
I could probably crawl on my hands and knees and make it from Maryland to Boston in that time frame. Customer service is incredibly rude (you can tell they hate their jobs; I feel really sorry for them--I've had a few confess that they think the company's "policies" are ridiculous) and uncommunicative. The phone system is also laughably amateur, with dropped calls a-plenty.
I have years of experience buying and selling gift cards to various vendors with zero issues, and thought I'd give this company one shot. Never again.
I've also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Skeptical that it will do anything, but until I get the $270 they've already agreed I am due for the gift cards I sold to them, I will keep being a constant, daily pest.

Bad Service
After I purchased my Physical card, I had to call their company three business days later for them to release it and wait another week to receive the card by mail.

GCR is STEALING my money - Lowes Gift Cards -false advertising as Gift Cards when they are merchandise credits -
I have spent almost $16000 at Gift Card Rescue (GCR). I bought about $2700 in Lowes ‘Gift Cards’ which are now useless. Gift Card Rescue advertised them as ‘GIFT CARDS” which was FALSE advertising. These were Merchandise Credits. If you notice now, they have separated Gift Cards and Merchandise Credits into 2 separate categories. I assume it is because they are getting many emails from people that they have misled. In addition, on the website it states that these can be used online which was also a lie. Merchandise credits haven’t been used online at Lowes for MANY years now. In 2016, Lowe’s changed their Merchandise Credit policy and no longer allowed the computer printed merchandise credits to be used in the store. You must have the physical card. I have written GCR on multiple occasions and have asked them to send me the physical cards. They have refused and are basically STEALING my money. I would be very careful about buying from this website since they have no customer service especially for someone like me who has spent so much money in buying gift cards from them. Think about it. If they are not going to help me who has spent a lot of money at GCR.com, do you think they will help you? They also do not EVER answer the phones. If anyone would like discuss options for this false advertising we should discuss our options at GCRfalseadvertising@gmail
