Giftya is not where you want to go to buy gift cards. They make it extremely inaccessible and difficult to do something that should be simple. I tried to buy a $20 amazon gift card for my sister but she got stuck in an error page when trying to redeem it. If it's not a scam they sure make it look like one. Also their egg shaped gift card thing looks so stupid. You're better off just mailing a physical gift card to someone rather than this terrible site

I talked to my friend on the phone and she was at TJ Maxx shopping. Within just a few minutes, I had gifted her money for her birthday. It was super easy and she got it before checkout.

I wouldn't recommend this website or app personally but I wouldn't tell others to not use it. I guess it does it's purpose, meaning, you can send gift cards to other people (can't send to yourself for some unknown reason, they make it clear and are strict on that policy). I've used this website 4 times recently and unfortunately had an issue every single time. The last gift card I sent was the last as I will not be using their service anymore as it's a pain in the a** for no good reason. Long story short I sent an Amazon gift card to someone and even though they did have $5 e-gift card option they do not let the recipient redeem it. I had previously sent a higher value Amazon gift card but it didn't cover the total purchase so I sent $5 more to cover costs of the recipients purchase and they couldn't redeem it. And I couldn't get a refund because they"opened" it. Its only $5 it's the point it's senseless to even sell in a denomination that isn't accepted once the recipient opens it to use it for the intended purchase. Ok they do let you know that you (the recipient) can exchange it for a different gift card, but who's to say that one will work either its a hassle really not worth it not big deal but annoying and doesn't make sense. And important tip, don't try sending it to yourself because they will refund your money. They locked me out of my account when sent it to someone else because they used my phone so make sure to not share a phone with the person you send it to because they will need to make an account to receive the gift card and that will flag your account and be a pain in the a**.

I LOVE Giftya!!!
I have friends and relatives around the country and it is the easiest way to show them I am thinking about them. Sometimes it has been a birthday, a coffee card for the airport when they are traveling , a lunch card for our friends whose child was in the hospital, and recently it was an”I’m sorry I missed our coffee date”…
So convenient and efficient and with many vendors to choose from. They were also very helpful when I sent a card to a wrong number. I highly recommend this company!! Thank you for Giftya for this great way to show love. Deb

Never again.
I can not believe this.
I tried to get a refund, and it is not happening. I can't believe this.
These people stole 100$ from me.
I did not realize that you have ro link the card to an existing credit or debit card, eventhough I had already paid for it. I thought my daughter would just be able to scan something never she used it. As it happens, she had lost her wallet and we are in two different towns. So it turned into a gigantic mess. So. Won't be doing this again.
