Delivery took four days with no update to tracking. Had to ring store a few times. By the time we got the fans we no longer needed them😕

The Gillmans website is very easy and user friendly. Communication by email and text during the process was very efficient. The two people that delivered my fridge freezer were very pleasant and efficient.

Recently bought an air conditioning unit from Gillmans, very easy to collect from store the next day (the only place that we could get one over the bank holiday weekend). In store the guys were efficient and loaded the unit into the car for us. Couldn’t have been easier!

We ordered a new oven and gas hob from Gillmans and agreed an installation date - 28 May 2026. Our new SMEG under counter double oven was installed in the morning with the gas hob scheduled for installation in the afternoon. The gas hob installation turned out to be far more complex than expected but Damien and Liam, the two Gillmans engineers were excellent, approaching the challenge with professionalism, patience and technical knowledge throughout. Safety was clearly top priority at every stage of the work. They took the time to carefully assess the situation, explain issues clearly and made sure everything was completed to the highest standard rather than rushing the job. Their attention to detail and commitment to doing the installation properly was very reassuring. Both engineers worked brilliantly together to come up with a solution that was safe and effective. The final result was excellent, and everything was left clean, tidy, and fully tested before they finished. There were no qualms about them staying late to ensure the job was done and their concern about any inconvenience caused was appreciated.
I highly recommend Gillmans and really appreciate the genuinely outstanding service from two skilled and conscientious engineers.

Always good on price, service, communication and everything in between. Everyone who grew up around here uses them and for very good reason. They piss on the big companies from a great height!

We purchased 2 ovens and a hob in October 2025. The delivery men were so quick, efficient as well as removing the old appliances. From purchasing with your salesman Stewart the pricing and service were outstanding.

We returned in May 2026 for a washer dryer and as always the service with Stewart was excellent.

Right product, great price and delivered within 48 hours

Item arrived on the day it was supposed to and fitted in by very friendly and professional fitters. They made a very quick and excellent job of fitting my appliance.
The only area I think Gillman's could improve their service would be a little advance notice about the delivery. We had no communication from them from the day we order until 7:45am on the delivery day saying they will be here in 8 minutes. A message the night before giving a 2/3 hours window would have been nice

I ordered a washing machine online. I arrived to pick it up quite late in the day, but they opened up the warehouse and found it for me.

Really happy with the product, price and installation service. It arrived on time, was installed with care by polite delivery staff who demonstrated the features and made sure that we were happy before leaving. Excellent all round from a local company.

Independent firm therefore you know who to contact if anything did go wrong. They delivered quickly & also plumbed the washing machine in & checked to see if it worked

Everything about delivery fine, lovely delivery guys. Would be 5 star if your tracking system could be understood, 4 phone calls - incomprehensible followed by 4 emails a day after delivery letting me know it was on its way.
