excellent service from start to finish, very helpfully nothing to much trouble.

Helped my mum to move into a retirement place which was hard but Girlings have been great and very approachable and helpful and anything I didn't understand were happy to clarify with me to pass onto my relative excellent advice and help

In the short time that we have been tenants, reaction times to one or two maintenance problems have proved to
be disappointing. Furthermore, when we considered accepting the tenancy of our 3rd floor flat, the provision of a
lift proved to be of utmost importance, Unfortunately we were not made aware of the limited use which has proved to be detrimental to our tenancy.

For future reference we suggest that your company inform future tenants of this anomaly.

4Girlings were tireless in finding me the right property, finally putting up with me changing my mind over which property to take (the right decision) at the last minute.

The process of securing the property was excellent. The maintenance side needs some improvements.

Girlings from the very start have been totally professional. Trust is perhaps the most important part of any companies identity and Girlings has trust in bucket loads.

Everything went well even with the nervousness of not being sure we could get the keys in time!

Having previously rented with Girlings, I decided earlier this year to return to the same complex. The apartment was newly decorated, and with new carpeting throughout. The benefits are, having a Manager on site, secure entry system, lovely gardens with seating, a residents lounge which is nicely furnished and available for all to use, plus accommodation for family or other visitors to stay at a very reasonable cost, but best of all I have an assured tenancy which means I can stay indefinitely unless of course, I may need residential care. I am very content, feel safe, and would recommend.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff who helped me through all the stages of moving to my chosen property. It couldn't have been easier.

Not good at repairs, I've been here 10 weeks and still waiting for a light switch to be repaired, rang maintenance on numerous occasions, they tell me they will sort it and let me know. Still waiting.
I completed all paperwork before I moved in, including standing order for rent, first month I had to ring Girlings to give them my rent, rent this month was due 9 days ago, still waiting for girlings to take.
I put in writing before I moved in, to ask if I could change lounge carpet as it is badly stained and, landlord wouldn't replace, I'm still waiting for a response.
On good points, flat is great, love it here 3 minute walk to sandy beach, very quiet, lots of social activities and friendly place to live.

Brilliant experience. Very professional staff throughout and caring approach. Could not have been more transparent with their communications. Everone involved in my dealings were efficient, friendly and informative. I highly recommend them.

Overall the experience was frustrating at times but thanks to the help of the staff at Girlings all went well.

This is the second time I have rented a flat with Girlings and I have always and still do experience friendliness, professionalism and complete satisfaction.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know.

We could not have been happier with our dealings with Girlings. We are of course pensioners and they made everything so easy for us on the move from paying the deposit to signing the lease. The heating system was replaced for us very quickly for which we were grateful. Would recommend them to anyone. The people we dealt with at the office could not have been nicer. Brilliant.
