Ive done the free sites
Ive done the free sites, you know what you get. Bots, spam, profiles last active two years ago. Paid sites arent automatically better but this one is. The moderation is clearly working because weeks in I have not seen one thing that felt off. Completely different experience

the glitch that doubled my messages nearly ended something good
Been talking to someone for about 3 weeks, going well, planning to meet. Sent a message confirming a time and it went twice. She replied to both separately, which was funny, but then asked `do you do this a lot?` in a way that wasn`t quite a joke. Had to explain it was a site bug. She seemed unsure whether to believe me. We`re still talking but there`s a slightly different energy now.

Never felt at home on it
Some sites you settle into. This one I never did. After three months I knew where everything was and understood the credits system well enough to use it. But it always felt slightly foreign. Like I was a guest in someone else`s interface. Not uncomfortable enough to leave immediately. Uncomfortable enough that when I eventually did leave it felt like a relief.
