We used GitPrime at my company for a couple of years and are much happier on Velocity (Code Climate), now, which is what's used by a lot of the forward-thinking dev teams that're focused on devops, which is the direction we wanted to move in -- Kickstarter, for instance. We didn't get the customer care that we needed to encourage adoption, and all that's needed to game the metrics on Gitprime is a force push, so, that, unfortunately becomes a thing. Not so with the customer success team at Code Climate, which wasn't sales-ey. They know their stuff, they've helped a lot of companies and they're really in it for the right reasons. They want to see other software companies grow. They really emphasize bringing metrics with context, not just trusting in the data blindly. It's a good augmentation to qualitative evals of devs who may not otherwise get the data they need to know how to improve. The thing with Gitprime was that it pretended to not need that context, it's setup in such a way that it tells you who's "prime" or not...
