At first, I was reluctant to replace the water filter on my GE refrigerator with anything other than the original brand. The significant price difference convinced me to give these a try. Delivery and installation were easy, and I’ve been very pleased with the performance. Happily, I ordered the 3-pack, so I should be set for a while.

We ordered the 2-Stage Glacier Fresh product to use when we go camping to insure the water provided in the campgrounds is safe to drink and use for cooking. We ordered a water test kit and the water in our camper with the Glacier Fresh filter system installed, registered within the range that is ok to drink.

Do not buy it took them 48 days to even give me a tracking number 46 days I told I don't want it I want a refund. I bought a different brand and it was there in a week, but get this as the new one was coming they sent the tracking for the other one and in order for me to get a refund I would need to refuse it when they delivered it, or call Amazon to cancel it in route which they had no way to look it up by tracking it was only by order number which I didn't buy from Amazon so the order number didn't even match so they gave me another number which in turn gave me another number to the same Amazon people. Option two was of coarse was to get a prepaid labe and send it back that they would provide but in the email it said it would.cost 60.00 for large packages what a joke they give you the run a round to make you want to give up and just keep the piece of shit. They have made amends and worked things out and gave me a full refund next time I’ll call and see what the lead time is before ordering but they are very sincere on their apologies

Quick filter replacement due to my error.
In spite of looking up the filter for my refrigerator using the model number, I ordered the wrong filter. Although the mistake was arguably mine, I emailed Glacier Fresh, they apologized, took responsibility and offered a replacement. Correspondence was very quick, clear, and professional. The correct product arrived within a few days.
Clearly, Glacier Fresh has very good products. In this case, their customer service handling and solving my problem was fantastic. You can buy with confidence!

Extra water filters
Ordered a set of water filters for my refrigerator and they arrived quickly and on time.About two weeks later I received another order I let them know that I did not order them.They said it could have been a glitch in the tracking . Literally half the cost of frig. water filters at Home Depot and Lowe’s, or from the manufacture. But don’t be in a hurry and/or plan ahead, delivery is slow.

I initially reviewed the product lower because of a few issues, mainly tied to the lack of instructions during set up, and the incorrect information in the installation guide.
The guide listed parts I didn't have, which made setup more of a pain than it needed to be.
There also wasn't any information about overfilling the bottom container which led to many leaks and large water messes.
This is a combination of user error and not enough information.
I had assumed that the bottom tank was larger than the top and that both tanks could hold water. So during the filling process, I was adding too much water to the system. Once the bottom was full, water would leak out of the seam and make a huge mess.
HERE is what bumps the score up for me.
The company was extremely fast with every correspondence and were quick to thank me for suggesting updates to the manual. They had informed me how to better fill the device to avoid overflows.
I still think the system would be better suited with a gasket between chambers to avoid possible leaks, but with the new knowledge in hand, everything is going much smoother.
I like the filtration system and how much water it holds. The water tastes great and I can rest easy knowing that anything that could be harmful in the water (metals, taste and odor compounds, etc) is being filtered out.
My only complaint as of now is that the system requires so many filters. It seems like older models have two rather than three. I recognize that more allows for quicker filtration, but cost would be a concern going forward as replacing 3 carbon and 3 fluoride filters is $$$.
