An absolute waste of my time. I sent a letter detailing my accounts along with pre-empting any paperwork they may need. For instance my husbands death certificate, power of attorney etc as we had joint accounts. For nearly 2 weeks after I sent the completed forms with my letter etc. they bugged me saying they needed to receive my paperwork. Eventually they confessed they had it but I still got requests for the paperwork. Then they asked for an electronic signature time and time again even though I sent them it. Then they claimed they needed more paperwork for me to sign as one of the accounts had been taken over by another bank. I sent them that. I complained over the phone and I was assured repeatedly that they needed nothing more. Then it started all over again! yesterday I received my paperwork back as they said they had made copies and were on the job. The same day I got an email to say they were closing my account!! This has been going on since June. Disgraceful. Does one department not know what the other department is doing. Followed by inaccurate information over the phone. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!

Got one claim back ok then for the last 4 to 5 weeks made phone calls because was only sent an authorised form no paper work for the other claim and was told they have sent the paperwork 4 times sound like they our sending authorised forms out and getting us to do the work our selfs

Ive just rang up to enquire if we could claim ppi from loans etc from 20 years ago because when we originally did it years ago they only went back 6 years but now they go back upto 30 years ago so i wanted to know if they could look at loans etc for upto 30 years ago and he didnt understand what i meant and after repeating myself 3 times he told me i needed account numbers and lenders names etc or they couldnt do it but when i used them years ago they did a credit report and found the details but now they wont so it looks like i will be using someone else or do it myself

Very poor service... closed my case without waiting for information to be sent to them.. tried phoning, long waiting list to be answered, sent several emails and absolutely no response... Will try another service...
So much for their TV adverts!!!!!!

Very, very poor service. Never contact you back, doesn't matter if you ring, write, or e-mail. Signed so many permission forms and all they do is send out more for you to sign.

Submitted an online submission and got several hard to understand calls which I doubt originated from Warrington. (GB are nowhere near the cheapest but selected as local). After explaining I have circa 20 items for them to check and asked for their pack to be sent out they still insisted on wanting to go through one by one while i was walking the dog. From what I could make out through the broken English they only seemed interested in the 'easy win' banks. I can do these myself. The final straw was being called 'Mr John' several times. Poor.

Very efficient. They were helpful, courteous and, as advertised, did all the hard work for me. My partner also applied and she too has been successful.

Not impressed with Gladstone Brookes. Not only do they not return phone calls as promised in their emails, now it seems they do not read emails they receive. When i phone them, the person i get at the other end is VERY difficult to understand - i doubt that english is their first language. Also, the constant passing of telephone calls is irritating and time consuming as it suggests no-one actually does any work there

I couldn’t recommend this Company highly enough if I tried. In all my dealings with them, they have always been polite, patient with me and professional. I had put off making a PPI claim for so long, frankly because I thought it would be too much hassle! My son pushed me to make a claim, I did a little research and chose Gladstone Brooke’s. I am so very, very glad that I did. Not only did they achieve in reclaiming several thousand £s for me in PPI, they took all the stress out of this onerous process. Thank you so very much. After I requested and received their documentation and was ready to send it, they started bombarding me with phone calls and emails like a real SPAM, always asking me for the same confirmations. The reason for this spam? unknown. I chose another ppi provider

They sent forms, then sent forms back because of no date by signature, couldn't they have done that? Then I was initially told something different to what I was being told later into my claims and when I questioned it I was told that someone would ring me back, but what they did was to end my claims and sent me a letter 2 days later, without even a sorry! Gladstone Brooks are a load of incompetant crooks!

I was sent multiple authorisation forms for one of the claims as they kept getting lost after I'd signed and returned them. This lead to a large number of overlapping texts and phone calls from Gladstone Brookes and lot of unnecessary confusion.

I approached Gladstone Brookes to undertake a review of PPI that I may have had. Whilst they have been successful in claiming monies on my behalf, I'm not convinced what they did was worth 20% of the monies claimed. It felt very much like hard work having to provided lots of additional information to them for the claims. Letters that had been claimed to have been sent to me hadn't been sent to me and it was only when a lender contacted me directly that it became apparent that Gladstone Brookes hadn't forwarded on correspondence. I've had to chase replies to emails and letters and had incorrect information provided on forms. Had I realised how complicated the process was to go through a 3rd party, I would have contacted all the lenders directly and cut out the middle man. I have in fact done that with some further PPI that has come to light since and is a lender that I hadn't asked Gladstone Brookes to look into.

Gladstonebrookes quickly & efficiently obtained my repayments. Would highly recommend them

Very helpful team on hand, ready to help complete/check the paperwork you need to deal with. Extremely beneficial having the client portal, very convenient submitting information /documents when required.
Made the process really easy and kept me fully informed each step of the process.

Using Gladstone Brookes to chase miss-sold PPI was a great decision. They chased down more companies than I even realised had sold me PPI. I doubt if I would have retrieved anything like the amount of compensation I got, even after paying their fees.
The claim advisors I dealt with were pleasant, helpful and very professional in their approach. A big thank you to Gladstone Brookes.

As someone who didn't think I was owed PPI I didn't know what to expect. From day one of contacting Gladstone Brookes the whole experience was extremely professional. Everyone I spoke to was professional and able to answer any questions I had. I was kept up to date every step of the way with what companies were offering me and I was contacted as soon as an agreed repayment was made. I can only thank Gladstone Brookes staff for sorting out my PPI and getting me a very big total of repayments. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.
