Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. I am truly sorry that your first experience with the system felt more difficult and disappointing than it should have, especially when you chose GLAMRDiP hoping for something easier to manage and gentler on your natural nails 😓

In terms of the powder jars, I completely understand what you mean. They are filled generously, which can make them feel quite full when first opened and a little less easy to work from directly than expected. One trick many customers use is placing the jar over a cupcake liner or our Mani Mat during application, so any excess powder is caught and poured straight back in. It makes the process much tidier and easier to control.

Regarding the Clear, it is not automatically included in every set as it is more of an optional supporting shade for encapsulating glitter, protecting nail art, or adding a buffer before refining. Some customers love it, while others do not need it, but I completely understand why it may have felt like an unexpected extra.

On the application side, I am really sorry it did not feel as easy in real life as it looked in the tutorial. This is one of the most common things we hear from customers coming from gel polish, as dip has quite a different rhythm. It comes down to very thin layers, quick and even application, and not overloading the nail. It can take a little practice, but I understand how disheartening that feels when you are hoping to get going confidently straight away.

About your removal, this is such an important part of protecting the natural nail. With our Remove Solution and Remove Bowl, removal should take around 15 minutes when the water underneath is very warm and the top coat has been filed through properly first. When the paper towel feels like it has stuck to the nail, it usually means the product has not softened enough yet and needs more time soaking. If removal starts too early, it can create that sticky feeling and leave nails more fragile afterwards, which is the opposite of what we want.

That is the part that genuinely breaks my heart most, because GLAMRDiP was created to protect and support natural nails. While your experience is absolutely valid, I do want to gently reassure you that this is not the typical outcome when the system is working as it should. Thank you for taking the time to share this so openly. I’m genuinely so sorry to read what’s happened here, and truthfully, it breaks my heart to hear that your nails have been left feeling cracked, broken and weak after using our system.

The whole purpose of GLAMRDiP is to help people move away from the kind of damage they’ve often experienced from salons or harsher systems, not to leave them feeling worse. Our aim has always been to help protect the natural nail, support healthier growth, and give people a way to enjoy beautiful nails without compromising their nail health. So to hear that your experience has been the complete opposite of that is incredibly upsetting 😓

I can completely understand why you’d feel disappointed and frustrated, especially after investing both your time and money and then having removal become a whole process. It absolutely should not have been that hard. To be completely transparent, our Remove Solution is not just plain acetone. It has been carefully formulated with ingredients like Vitamin E, calcium and coconut oil to help protect the nails and surrounding skin during the removal process, and when paired with our Remove Bowl, the product should usually soften and slide away smoothly in around 15 minutes. The fact that you had to go through multiple attempts, change methods yourself, and still ended up with this result tells us that something did not behave the way it should have.

What’s especially upsetting is that once the product starts resisting removal and is peeled or forced away before it has fully broken down, that is often when the natural nail can become compromised underneath. From what you’ve described, it sounds like removal became much harder and harsher than it was ever intended to be, and I’m so sorry you were left dealing with the aftermath of that.

What makes this even harder to read is that so many of our customers come to GLAMRDiP after dealing with weak, brittle, bitten or previously damaged nails, and go on to see their nails become stronger and healthier with time. We also have a very active Facebook community called All Things GLAMRDiP, where customers regularly share their results, tips and progress, including many who started out with nails they were deeply unhappy with and are now seeing their healthiest nails yet. That is the experience we want associated with our brand, and I’m truly sorry that this has not been yours.

I also wanted to gently clarify that we don’t currently sell on Amazon, so it may be that the kit you've got is from another brand or a third-party listing. That said, I absolutely do not want to dismiss what you’ve described, because the concerns you’ve raised are all valid and important.

Your first few sets can definitely feel like a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it really does become much easier and can save both time and money in the long run. The powder can sometimes spill over if the pots are especially full, which is why we recommend gently tapping off any excess and working over something underneath, like a cupcake liner or mani mat, to help keep things neater.

In terms of removal, I also wanted to mention that our recommended method is designed to be much quicker and easier when used as intended. With our Remove Bowl and Remove Solution, removal should usually take around 15 minutes in total. We'd be more than happy to send you out a set so you can experience the difference!

As for the application itself, it’s completely normal for the first couple of tries to feel a bit tricky. The good news is that bumps or unevenness can usually be refined with filing, and often just a couple of small tweaks make a huge difference to the final finish.
