We have used Glanvilles on three separate occasions now for conveyancing purposes, and I have nothing but praise for Julia and the team supporting her. The service was efficient and thorough, with no stone left unturned and relevant enquires raised where deemed necessary without cutting corners. We were kept informed at every stage, with realistic timeframes specified for the various stages of the work. There was a glitch involving the solicitors acting for our buyers during our most recent experience, and this was dealt with very professionally by Glanvilles when our buyer changed their solicitor at a very late stage. Julia and her team were brilliant throughout and ensured we all achieved the end results we wanted. Our buyer asked for Glanvilles details as they were so impressed by the service we received. I would recommend Glanvilles to anyone buying and selling their house based on three personal experiences and that of my son recently too.
I used Glanvilles in Havant to do my financial order to my divorce. Don’t use them! Next to no communication from my solicitor, very slow. Changed the draft order without being asked or telling me, so my ex now benefits. Made a complaint, so far got no where, no communication as usual. Very frustrating.

3 years Glanvilles have been dealing with my late father's estate. Never return calls, ignore emails and when they do reply is ignoring the issue. I have complained directly to Susan about my evidence of account fraud by Glanvilles and Executors but they simply do not care. Glanvilles are now the main beneficiaries of my dad's estate. Just like the post office scandal. Evil in my view. Even your reply is not true. No face to face. I rang you everyday for 2 weeks and visited your office. I have evidence of false accounting by Glanvilles yet you ignore. I am legally entitled to ask for full accounts and expenses yet you refuse. You threatened me with slander yet all is true. Just like the post office you deliberately destroy lives. Where is my interim £5000 or have you spent all my inheritance? I am paying your bill after all. Will i have to wait another YEAR OF HELL . Looks like you will bet all my inheritance. Get your CEO to call me. You have given me no courtesy at all

Sue and the team at Glanvilles (Victoria, Sara & Michelle) worked their socks off for us, handling our house sale and associated purchase, at what turned out to be a very difficult time for us personally. Sue in particular is worth her weight in gold and I wouldn't hesitate to contact her again if/when we need legal services.
I would recommend Glanvilles LLP whole heartedly.
My solicitor and paralegal were approachable, kind and completely professional.
Buying and selling is a stressful time, having them alongside was a great comfort because they communicated with me, so I wasn't left wondering what was going on.
My other dealings with the team were good too.
When my first buyer changed their mind, as happens, my solicitor said, 'Don't worry, we've done a lot of the required paperwork, so that should help make for a quicker sale, because we've done so much already'.
It did, the house was sold fairly easily afterwards.
I would certainly use them again. Howard

I’m afraid I cannot recommend having used to sell and buy property last week.
Their communication is very poor and I simply couldn’t speak to the paralegal handling my transactions.
There was an legal issue over my flat ground lease, causing the sale to fall through. Glanvilles offered no advice, had not even picked up the phone to the other side to discuss the matter. This was very poor and cost me time and money. They are supposed to look after their clients interests & I didn’t feel this was the case at all.
I did stick with them, we did get both transactions over the line, but I felt that I was doing a lot of the leg work for them. My complaint was not taken seriously and I never got an explanation over issues raised. I would go someone else in future.
As an edit - I did verify my details with Glanvilles. They did indeed offer to speak to me, my view is that it was 6 months too late and stand by the above. However credit where it’s due to for reaching out. Just a shame they didn’t earlier..

I used Glanvilles Havant for the purchase and sale of my property. Suzanne Golden was my solicitor and I was very happy with her service. Suzanne gave me excellent advice, got back to me with any queries soon afterwards and completed the sale and purchase in good time. The quote given by Suzanne was the best out of three quotes. I would recommend Suzanne to anyone who needs a solicitor for the sale or purchase of a property.

We engaged Glanvilles to sell our jointly owned former family home. On the few occasions I had to contact them they were very quick to respond and my questions were dealt with efficiently and effectively. Their charges were, I thought, very reasonable and the sale proceeded without any problems. I would have no problems recommending them. Thank-you to Simone, Liz, Liz, Mark and the rest of the team. You certainly do not receive the service that you believe you are paying for. Very poor communication, ineffective application, extremely poor advice. I engaged this firm in order to set to rights a blatant wrong doing, I was left with a very large debt and no resolution. I fully understand why they insisted on wearing Masks.
Point proven regarding communication, you have spelled my name incorrectly. As for your detailed response I would suggest Jackanory.

1 star is to much but i had to tick it to write this .
very unprofessional never return calls or voice messages never replied to emails from myself or my sellers solicitor disappear for 4-5 weeks with no excuses i have nearly lost the property i was buying due to this shamble of a company i have changed my solicitors now in a hope to save the sale and purchase
Glanvilles filed a deficient Lease Agreement with the Land Registry - pages were missing. As a consequence, when we came to sell the flat we were landed with indemnity insurance costs for the buyer. Despite this negligence by Glanvilles being a matter of public record, they continue to disclaim responsibility! I have had to tick 1 star to get this posted, but they deserve less.
