Global Research Fellowship (GRF) provides one-to-one finance and economics research mentorship for ambitious high school students. Our private mentorship helps students develop an original research question, conduct serious analysis, and write an independent research paper under the guidance of an experienced finance or economics professional. Each student works directly with their mentor throughout the research process. Together, they narrow the topic, identify credible data and sources, learn the relevant financial or economic concepts, build an evidence-based argument, and revise the final paper. Students remain the primary authors of their work, while mentors provide the structure, technical guidance, and professional feedback needed to produce research at a much higher level. Projects can explore topics including financial markets, investing, macroeconomics, sovereign debt, monetary policy, emerging markets, geopolitical risk, and economic development. The subject is shaped around the student’s interests rather than selected from a list of generic assignments. GRF is designed for high school students who want more than an introductory finance course or a superficial college application project. The goal is to help each student understand how real research is conducted and complete a substantial piece of original work that reflects their own thinking. We also offer a small-group Research Desk program in which selected students collaborate on a shared global finance research project. However, our private research mentorship provides the most personalized and intensive GRF experience, with individual guidance from the initial idea through the completed paper. See more
