Zero customer service, avoid

I was refunded the 25th October after leaving the review.

I have used glowday a lot and I thought they were great. Recently I booked with a nurse and it turned out it was going to be carried out in her home. Which I'm not comfortable with, I didn't think that was normal practice for glowday! I was charged a cancellation fee and I explained that it wasn't advertised as a home address and that was the reason I cancelled. They have completely stopped responding to me now. Terrible customer service, will never use them again, nor recommend. You could find who you want to go with and then just book direct, at least that way you can find out where the treatment will be carried out!

Update:

I was refunded, but I didn't receive the response or refund until I posted a review on trust pilot

I never got an email, not in spam either and I don't appreciate being made out to be a liar, the review stands. Bad customer service as outlined in my original review.

You must be confused with your timings. As outlined below, in the email correspondence between you and I, your refund was processed on the 23rd Oct. You were emailed at 16:43 on 23rd Oct to inform you that your payment had been refunded and that the payment may take a day or two to hit your account. You left your original review on the 25th Oct, the same day the refund hit your account, and edited it on 3rd Nov and 19th November.

Below is an account of all correspondence sent, including dates and times. This has been forwarded to TrustPilot:

You sent an initial email at 23:04 on the 22nd October, stating that you weren’t happy with the practitioner you’d booked and didn’t want to get charged a cancellation fee.

I responded to that email at 10:59 on the 23rd, asking for details of the booking, so I could take a look.

You provided the details at 12:22 on the 23rd.

At 12:28 I replied, asking for the email address associated with your account, as the one you emailed from wasn’t on our system.

You replied at 13:09 with your home address.

I replied at 13:53 asking for your email address. And followed this up with an email at 16:43 to inform you that I’d found your payment, refunded it and that the payment may take a day or two to hit your account.

You replied at 16:49 with the correct email.

At 22:38 on the 24th you emailed me a question mark.

On the 25th October at 12:59 you emailed “I won’t be using Glowday again”

I replied with:

“Hi Katy,

You must have missed the email I sent on Wednesday (which is below) letting you know that I refunded your late cancellation fee, which should now be in your account.

Best,

Han”

I’m not sure why you believe this is poor customer service? It seems like you’ve missed an email in an email trail - the dates and times of which are above and accurate, and rather than acknowledging you made a mistake, received good customer service AND the refund you requested, you’re continually editing your review.

PERFECT

Jade (The Hill Clinic, Manchester) had been recommended to me. Never having considered Aesthetics before, I visited Jade with a preconceived idea of wanting Derma fillers
I have fine lines on my top lip that I wanted to disguise/resolve. Jade discussed the various treatments but generously advised against the derma filler being that the results would not be as might expect and she would not want me to be disappointed with my appointment.

Jade did however suggest skin booster and although it has only been 24hrs I can already see a skin plumpness returning on my lip.
I’m thrilled with my treatment and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jade.
Her honesty, and professionalism is second to none, Thank you Jade.

The only regret I have is not getting GlowDay sooner.

Where do I even start? GlowDay is absolutely amazing, and incredibly user friendly, especially for someone like me who is completely technologically literate. Signing up to GlowDay for my growing business has been one of the best decisions I have made. It has taken the admin faff completely away from me and allows patients to complete their forms before coming to Clinic, which saves time for you and them. Patients have noted to me how easy using GlowDay was for them. By having the forms filled out ahead of time, you were able to get to know a bit about your patient before they even walk through your door, which I find to be a massive plus.

Further to the seamless booking system, Glow Day helps you to collect verified patient reviews for you, which has been key in growing my business.

Hannah is extremely responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. She is always at hand to answer any question, posts and shares very useful information to help you grow your business and understand the world of social media and marketing. She also creates amazing templates that you can customise to share on your own social media.

Being a small business owner can feel quite isolating. Hannah has always been at the other end of the phone giving me really priceless information and the confidence to persevere.

The only regret I have is not getting GlowDay sooner.

I cannot recommend Glowday enough

I cannot recommend Glowday enough. Not only is the clinic software and booking system the best I have ever used, it is a genuinely beautiful interface and so easy to navigate. The absolute jewel in the crown is Hannah and all of the support you get as a GlowdayPro - from golden business advice and tips to marketing and social media. Glowday is just wonderful and every possible way.

Worth it’s weight in gold

I only recently moved from another platform to GlowdayPRO and I’m so so so glad I made the switch.
Hannah and Joby have been incredibly helpful, responsive and knowledgeable. Set up of my clinic and treatments was really easy (I even managed it while getting minimal sleep with my newborn baby).
The built in medical questionnaires, photography consent forms and consent for treatment forms are excellent - totally takes the faff out of chasing patients to complete forms and speeds up appointments as it’s completed beforehand.
I’m yet to see any additional patients finding me organically through the platform, but I’m fairly new on Glowday so wasn’t expecting much.
Hannah also shares such useful social media / marketing tips - well worth the platform fee just for this alone.

I LOVE Glowday!!

I LOVE Glowday!!! Sooooo much more than just a bookings platform. Hannah and Joby are so helpful and super responsive. I’m reassured that my patient data is safe & secure, and I really like how robust the system is in terms of ensuring all data is submitted. You cannot move forward on the records until everything is complete which ensures that legally you’re covered (if needed). Consent, medical notes, photo consent etc is all ready to go. Pre and post treatment advice is sent automatically and text reminders are included!! With my previous platform I had to pay extra for this. Hannah also knows her stuff with business, she helps with giving tips on how to maximise your google, creates email templates and shares posts that can be edited to fit your brand, for those days or weeks you lack inspiration! Really amazing and I wouldn’t be without it!

The software every aesthetics practitioner needs!

I am only relatively new to aesthetics and was debating whether to stick with paper or make the move to an electronic system and after seeing all of Hannah’s social media posts and information that she gives to practitioners for free and that you get a free 60 day trial it was a no brainer! As Hannah says “no one ever regrets going electronic and wishes they could revert to paper” and she is absolutely right! It has everything you need in one place, it’s extremely user friendly and more than just a booking system! The team are available for any queries you may have and quick to respond! I am only just getting started and wouldn’t be without the system!

My business would not be the same without Glowday

Where can I start to say Hannah and the Glowday team are MUCH more than a software provider.

My first experience with Glowday was when Toby phoned me after first lockdown and silly me did not Glowday then…. Thereafter I kept following them closely until I finally joined them in 2022. It only took me a day or so to create my account and since then I moved all my patients to use the Glowday link. The brand page looks so professional and the treatment guides an amazing feature to send patients (specially when I first started and I did not have a website yet).
The online forms are great and patients love the text messages. BUT the most important thing about Glowday is THE SUPPORT!!!! Hannah is just part of my life, my business would not be the same without Glowday. Hannah has always given me all the best advice, dedication and all the time I need whenever I need it. Being a very busy pharmacist, mum of two and small business proprietor means I work 24/7 the 365 days of the year… let me say whenever it is that I need Glowday they are ALWAYS THERE!

And let’s not forget the sense of being part of a community as a Glowday PRO with access to templates (for social media posting on days I cannot create my own content or with latest news) and many tutorials to set up other aspects of business marketing….

If anyone reads this on thinking whether to join Glowday or not: please book a demo and give it a go!

Do not trust the reviews you see on…

Do not trust the reviews you see on Glowday as they remove unfavourable reviews from practitioner accounts. They removed my review regarding an aesthetician because it brought to light her unprofessionalism and lack of client care.

The actual booking process etc is fairly simple and smooth sailing, however i would not choose the aestheticisn based on client reviews as they definitely remove any negative feedback, which I feel is very misleading.

There are occasions where we remove reviews.

Usually at the request of the reviewer, who has written the review the day after treatment without waiting for the results to settle.

There are occasions where we remove reviews that are misleading or slanderous. In the few cases we’ve had like this, the patient has requested either additional free treatment or a refund from the practitioner and been declined. They’ve then reached out to their bank to get a refund, and in each case, when we’ve provided the bank with evidence, they’re declined the refund. In these instances, the review isn’t reflective of the standard of care and work the practitioner delivers.

In over 13,000 reviews, only 6 have been unpublished, 3 on the request of the reviewer, 3 because they were misleading or slanderous.

If you could email support@glowday.com with the email address you used to leave your review, I can take a look for your particular review, as your name isn’t related to any of the unpublished reviews.

What a refreshing change…

I’m a OGDer (original Glowdayer) From the minute I saw their posts on instagram I knew Glowday was something I had to be a part of… A secure booking platform that provides forms, pre & post treatment information, photo and medical notes storage, that provides details of treatments, practitioner availability, prices and ensures complete autonomy for the clients and patients over their own appointments plus an intuitive diary, marketing of you & your clinic, a payment service that avoids deposit taking and a review verifying clinic feedback system? Oh hell yeah!
This company is like nothing you have encountered before. Glowday is efficient, accountable, slick and they have absolutely nailed the aesthetics booking and marketing corner making my life as a practitioner and clinic owner so much easier.

The reason Glowday are so awesome? They ASK and ENGAGE with the people using it to help design and tweak it. Constant improvements and updates, every single one making it more user friendly, more streamlined and more informative for consumers and practitioners alike.

The team are approachable, friendly, supportive and so helpful I honestly don’t know my business would have made it without them all.

Hannah is also an absolute design ninja and has assisted me with my personal marketing and branding too.

To be honest they’re just showing off now. 😉

Can’t recommend Glowday highly enough. Keep doing what you’re doing Glowday!

Great platform that is custom built for the aesthetics industry to make booking and documenting appointments and reviews a breeze! Also company owners are SUPER quick to reply to any technical issues or support questions and sort out any issues you may have!
