When planning to remove 3 internal supporting walls Giovanni could not have been more helpful with suggestions and solutions to how we could achieve the home we wanted whilst complying with building regs and creating a structurally sound project. His calculation were easy to understand and came back in good time allowing me to get on with the work.

From start to finish, Giovanni has provided a fantastic service getting us a Strucural Engineer Report. I first got in touch via email to ascertain costs / timeline etc. and received fast, informative, and polite responses with lots of useful information and a transparent view of the product I was paying for. As an example of this, I was advised that Giovanni would be unable to comment on anything that was behind plaster (naturally) but said he would be happy for us to arrange a builder to meet him and provide access as required. I personally really appreciated this “problem-solving” attitude.
The survey was able to done several days before any other company could, was a competitive price, and Giovanni even picked up the keys from the estate agent on the day, adding to an overall stress-free experience.
The report itself was very thorough, with a good amount of detail and lots of high-quality pictures to help illustrate the descriptions – The fact that no stone was left unturned gave us reassurance in the things Giovanni said were OK, and therefore would also give serious consideration to the negative areas he highlighted.
Following the report, we had a few extra questions and Giovanni continued to deliver fast replies and provided us with some incredibly detailed additional information and suggestions.
Worth every penny and cannot recommend GMB Consultancy highly enough.
