ITM taxi driver …

I recently arrived in Australia after 22 hrs flying. I caught a taxi to an Arncliffe hotel for the night. The taxi driver pulled up on a main road where you can't stop and told us that he wasn't getting out of the car. It was dangerous. He popped the boot after we paid and told us to get the luggage out ourselves. Meanwhile other vehicles were weaving around us and honking and breaking hard. Of course we were rushing. I left my phone on the back seat. The next day I rang lost property and was told the driver had found it. They asked him to ring me. He told me that he couldn't/ wouldn't get the phone back to me. He gave me a first name and a false phone number. After talking to Lost Property again I was told it was now a police matter and not even offered his licence number or anything helpful to police.

Appalling experience - late and potentially dangerous

Appalling, amateur and potentially downright dangerous company.
Our drop off for the airport, in a pretty dubious looking car park where we later saw that a fellow customer had suffered a flat tyre as a result of the poor surface, saw the driver arrive 20 minutes late as they were killing time to allow other people to arrive and park (no indication this would be the case when booking). but thankfully we had allowed plenty of time at Heathrow so that wasn’t really a problem.
The big issue came with our return home. The company instructions said to ring the driver to allow for a 30 minute warning before you are picked up. We made this call at 6.06am.
Despite several chasing calls - most of which weren’t answered - and a promise at 6.55am that the driver would be there in 15 minutes (which would already have been late by almost half-an-hour), we weren’t picked up until after 7.30am - around an hour-and-a-half after our initial call and an hour late.
This was after a 24-hour journey home from holiday and put us into the middle of M25 rush hour traffic, so safe to say we weren’t over-the-moon.
However, when we raised this with the driver he shrugged and said he still had to wait for someone else. When my wife questioned this, the driver raised his voice at her and shouted that he had to wait for the other people and he was “just the driver”.
When I asked him not to shout, he was dismissive and I felt there was potential he could get aggressive.
Fortunately, the other customer arrived then and we headed off. We didn’t raise the issue again as we just wanted to get home and they had our car key at the other end.
Another couple of important things to note. The driver was scruffily and informally dressed. Two of the seatbelts in the van didn’t work and he answered a mobile call (not hands free) as we drove, swerving across the lane in the process.
Please don’t be taken in by the price this company offers. There is a reason for it.
Terrible organisation. Avoid.

Awful service

Awful service - don’t use of you actually need to be somewhere on time. My taxi arrived 30 minutes late. I had to call twice to ask where it was. No apology from the operator until I asked for one, no apology from the driver until I asked twice!! All pretty stressful when your destination is a train station and you have an interview!
