Chris Haigh Goalkeeping Reviews 

Our son has only recently started playing in goal. He has attended roughly 6 sessions and we can already see a huge improvement in his understanding of the role. Chis and he’s coaching staff have really helped Ollie with his technical ability and we continue to see weekly improvements.

My 6 year old son went along for a free trial last week in Ingatestone and LOVED it. Before we went Chris was in touch with us to make sure we had all the information we needed, he made us feel very welcome with the personal messages he sent. On arrival Coach Jim and Coach Alex were equally as welcoming and made us feel like part of the team immediately. My son had so much fun in 1 hour and can't wait to come back this week to put his new skills into place. Thank you!

Really impressed with the teaching staff. They catered for each individual child in the group and were really supportive and encouraging. My son and his friend loved their session and spoke about it all the way home!

My son attended his first session at GK training last week. He was nervous to start but the trainer made him feel very welcome and ensured he felt comfortable throughout the session. The kids were kept very engaged and my son learnt a few new skills on his first day there. He’s very excited to go back and Be part of this training weekly. Great communication from Chris throughout the whole process, thank you for making the transition so easy follow 🙌🏻🙌🏻⚽️

My 8 year old son has recently taken a liking to being a GK, I had seen alot about CHGK coaching online and was recommended by a friend to give it a try. The set up is very good and the coaches are great, my son was made very welcome and being a shy lad I was really surprised how much he came away after his first session really happy and couldn't wait for the next session. CHGK is great for young GKs to learn the attributes they need to be a GK and enjoying themselves at the same time. Am very happy that I found this GK coaching and is great to see my son in a environment he loves and enjoys so much.

Chris and his team of amazing coaches have taught my 11yr old daughter more techniques in 2 sessions than she’s learnt in more than a year at her previous GK lessons! We both can’t thank you enough and she is really looking forward to learning loads more.

My son has been going to CHGK for 2 years, Chris and his team clearly work hard behind the scenes to develop the best possible training to suit ages and ability.
During lockdown Chris lead 1 hour fitness and psychology input online and this was a great idea to keep the GKs intrested and knowledgeable.
I have identified a weakness in a certain area of my sons game and after a quick conversation Chris created a 1vs1 session to give knowledge and practice on this weakness.
My Son is now lucky enough to play at a top level for his age and still attends CHGK for further tuition and fun.

My son has only been to a few sessions but has already gained so much confidence. The coaches are all fantastic with the children and make each session fun and engaging. My son struggles with new environments and situations and Chris and the other coaches made him feel at ease and relaxed pretty much instantly. It is great to see him using the skills and techniques he is learning during his own football matches. I would 100% recommend Chris Haigh Goalkeeping.

My son really enjoys the sessions he has with Chris and his coaches.
The session are kept varied each week and coaches are swapped on occasions between keepers as well, this helps keep it fresh and interesting for the kids.

Only gripe would be that my son wants to train 2-3 hrs per week.

Chris is very visible and spends time speaking to parents and kids at each session as well. I really good enjoyable experience for my son overall.

My 7 year old loves these sessions. By far his favourite after school club.
His football team coaches have seen a really improvement in his confidence and skills.

All the coach’s were really welcoming, my son is very shy but his coach helped him through each week and he grew in confidence.

The goalkeeper training is different to any other training my son has been to..in a good way. It’s not just about shot stopping, it’s a lot more involved & varied, whilst keeping it fun. They spend a lot of time on footwork, with or without the ball, which is a big part of goalkeeping these days.
They also spend a-lot of time working on angles, which I find most keeper trainers don’t spend much time doing. All in all, my son really enjoys it & is excellent value for money.

My son Josh has been attending these goalkeeper sessions for a number of months now and I am amazed at the progress he has made. Before now we have tried other goalkeeper clubs that just have not kept him engaged! However, no matter the weather my son is always keen for Wednesday night to come round as he feels he is pushed each week and the tips and encouragement makes him come away with a smile. His team are over the moon with his progress which makes the cold dark nights worth while!

Since I have taken my son Hayden to CHGK the experience for my son has been excellent. Chris and the coaches have really helped him develop in goalkeeping and his general confidence for which I am very grateful and can’t thank everyone enough for that.

Very talented coaches who create an environment that is both professional and enjoyable for the boys and girls that attend. Every session is full of high energy, passion and fun.
Our 14yr old boy loves coming to the sessions and we can clearly see the improvement each week in his match day performances.

My boys have attended various local goalkeeping schools and I would highly recommend Chris and his team above the others.
The drills are well planned, stretching the kids technically and mentally, keeping them busy with no one waiting around to take their turn.
Professional, friendly group of coaches and very good value for money.

Superb place for budding young GK’s.

A coaching company who are there for the kids / players and not the money or img pushy and promising loads like many others.

All coaches are superb with kids no matter age and a joy to watch sessions ( apart from when raining and cold - although the kids seem to love this !!)

My son always leaves with a smile on his face which is the main thing whilst learning the GK trade.
