I liked the food but two items did not arrive and even though I reached out to ask for these to be sent I had no reply on the matter.

The food is nice some of the food can be a bit watery but main problem is packing I have had some food crushed open. Otherwise I think it's good

Good products. Plans are decent and affordable. Ready-made portions are saving me a lot of time.

Worked for weight loss but its too expensive in the current climate and the pancakes are awful lol avoid those. Theyre so dry even with syrup. Also one week I ordered jam porridge and got plain because the packaging on both is red so packers obviously got confused

Not enough choice anymore. You have lost too many meals and not really replaced them.

Food awful quality, out of stock every order, delivery went to wrong address, you lose weight because you can't eat it

Slipping standards, reduced options, minimalist service & experience, vague delivery window, premium pricing.
It's quite conflicting and sad to be this honest but as a former customer of the "Do the unthinkable" plan "AKA DTU" Musclefood used to do, it's quite telling to compare just how much this company has "streamlined" it's offering.
Don't get me wrong, it's still convenient to get your entire weekly shop delivered in one go. With minimal prep and cooking required.
However there are various aspects missing compared to the previous "DTU" plans that were offered.
First and foremost is the aspect of the "experience". With the DTU plans, a booklet of exercises was also included. Along with an invitation to social groups like a Facebook group reserved for customers to discuss workouts and recipes.
Now? You don't get any of that. The Personal Trainer Steve, who was brilliant at the social media aspect of the company has apparently left. So maybe this is why.
You don't even get a proper booklet with your recipes now. Instead you get an email sent to you, with a generic instruction for four similar options.
Calling it a "Recipe" is also a bit of a stretch.
Given it's really just warming up a bag of lentils of some kind in the microwave, and seasoning some chicken or pork to go with it.
I understand you have to provide the instructions, but again, comparing it back to the previous "DTU" plan, you had also sorts of actual recipes people could choose from. Things like Burger Bowls, Fried Chicken Burgers and so on.
Popular "Fakeaways" with much less calorie content in them to help people stick to the plan.
Which brings me onto my next point.
All of those options and more have been quietly discontinued and I honestly feel borderline misled.
There were a few of my favourite options that I looked forward to having again from the "DTU" plan.
Things like the previously mentioned burger bowls, fried chicken burger recipes in the selectable "Meal kits" are all gone.
None of that really exists any more.
The best you get are options that are essentially a bag of lentils, similar to a bag of rice, and a single piece of meat, like a single pork chop or a single chicken breast. It's actually kind of sad. No seasonings or vegetables included.
It's absolute minimalism at it's finest.
Certain options that even were still advertised to me when signing up for "Goal Plans" were quietly discontinued too.
For example, the advertising clearly displayed the chocolate coated coffee bean snacks that I liked.
So when signing up I looked to choose a couple of them in my goal plan. Of course they weren't selectable.
I also noticed that the "Breakfast Muffin" choice wasn't available either.
I contacted their support about their Musclefood discount codes not working on their GoalPlans site and also about the various options from the "DTU" plan not being available any more, to confirm if it was just a stock issue or perhaps I had selected a plan that didn't allow those choices, but no, they confirmed most of the options I had looked forward to ordering again had been discontinued.
The "Breakfast Muffin", the "Chocolate Coffee Bean" snack and some other options had been discontinued but that the "Chicken Breakfast Bagel" was still an option and encouraged me to sign up any way, offering a single use discount coupon, not understanding I wanted the site to accept a regular discount.
Which by the way, you have to re-apply each and every week of your subscription even if it the discount codes are accepted. They will be quietly taken off from your weekly order. Meaning if you forget to apply it each week, have fun paying the full price. Asking for a refund of some kind and being told "There's nothing we can do", it's all done by design hoping you'd forget to keep applying the discounts you're fully entitled to. For example if you're a blue light worker etc.
Of course, about a month later of doing the plan, since signing up, I've since received three separate emails letting me know that the choices I would regularly pick have now been discontinued, like the "Chicken bagel" they assured me was still stocked when signing up.
Delivery time frames have gone from DTU's one specific day to "It'll be with you around about this range of two or three days, but don't worry about it, even though it contains frozen food and fresh meats due to our ice packs"..even though they're completely melted and are liquid by that point even though it's in the winter. I dread to think what it would be like during a heatwave in the summer & the amount of spoilage & refund complaints that are going to be raised.
Comparing from DTU, the price has also gone up from £75 a week to near £100 a week if you include postage and no discount codes applied.
One more "We've discontinued this product" email & I'm cancelling for good.
Use by date is too short. If delivery is delayed then food needs to be eaten within 3 days.

The food is delicious, I've not disliked any of the meals I've had so far and the snacks are great. It's a great selection and gives you confidence to try things you might not have ordinarily given a go. It may seem a little expensive, but if you factor in what you've saved in prep and cooking time, it's worth it.

Some off the dates we're short had to eat them pretty much straight away

Included items that went out of date with 3 days of delivery and ended up being thrown away. Makes it more expensive than competiters

I am very much enjoying the Goal Plans diet and it absolutely makes my life very easy and stops me from worrying about what I am going to eat. I subscribe to the 7 day plan (I have to be focused!) and this has gone well over the last couple of months but my most recent delivery was very disappointing… Every lunch item was going to be out of date after 5 days and not 7 and some of the meals also had short dates on them. Previously they have all lasted the whole 7 days and that has been a huge benefit to signing up to this. The short dates (especially for the burritos) really annoyed me because I take my lunch to work every day and now I have to buy two lunches from elsewhere and throw away two items that are wasted. Not ideal! I think it depends who packs your order but you would think that whoever does this would ensure that the food lasts the full week. I HAVE been offered a voucher to compensate which is appreciated but I still have to go and buy something to replace what will be out of date and it does not seem like the burritos are able to go frozen. Disappointing. I have also had a few snack items which were out of date too and didn’t bother complaining but it is not good to get out of date pretzels for example.
Also, whoever packed my order was not very careful and one item had leaked all over everything else making it all sticky and very smelly.

I’ve used these few times on/off over the years . I used them again for a few months to help me track and trace my diet and get it back on track regarding portion sizes and calories .
Having lost a huge lump of weight I’m now happy enough for now and maintaining weight & lifestyle comfortably.
Meals are very good and choice is vast . Good value for money with the snacks included .
Thanks

I don't like they take away things which are popular and you not able to get them again if you want to try something else!

Very impressed! Have used PreppedPots many times before but first time trying Goal Plans. Loved all the snacks they were really tasty! Helps me stay on track with my calories while still enjoying food. Will definitely be placing another order when I get back from my holiday!

First delivery was delivered to the completely wrong address. This was eventually refunded after playing email tennis for over a week. But then they also sent out another delivery I didn't request which they charged me for. The food in this box was completely ruined. Soaked from the melted icepack. Packets open. Packaging ripped. Had to be throw out. I'm still playing email tennis about this issue now. They insist I did request this delivery and they are also ignoring the fact that is was totally damaged.
Have used this company for years but will be cancelling my subscription as soon as I resolve this issue with the last box. Not sure what has changed with this company recently but this service is appalling.

Parcel had been left outside on a hot day, without my being informed. By the time I found it several items had suffered in the heat, ice melted, cardboard sodden and peeling away, meals leaking. Not Goal Plans’ fault, but they need to use a more reliable delivery service.
