Goat Academy by Felix Prehn Reviews 

It's only been 4 weeks since joining, and I would say my journey has been more or less flawless, so far. The initial great marketing exercise by Felix himself, via the free You Tube seminars, bythemselves,are already top class information. It surely led me to seriously consider joining the academy. Yes, entry is pricy, for us average Joes n Janes, but having jumped into the deep end now, I consider myself lucky to have come across such an opportunity to learn a new skill set. The whole academy set up, the methodical step by step approach, the underlying philosophy of the founders, access to (former) professionals in the field, it all makes for a solid, compelling package, and I'm certain that the skills I'm learning here will be a lasting foundation stone for my fututre trading endevours.

My experience with Goat Academy has been overwhelmingly positive, and what truly sets it apart is not just the methodology but the strength of the team behind it. The program continues to evolve in meaningful ways, reflecting a commitment to constant improvement and real-world relevance. While Felix’s Wall Street Protocell methodology provides a strong and structured foundation, it’s the broader coaching staff and support team that elevate the entire experience—offering diverse trading perspectives that complement the core system and help students find their own edge. Equally impressive is the student management team, which is highly responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in student success, making the learning process smooth and engaging. Overall, Goat Academy delivers not only high-quality trading education but also a professional, supportive environment that consistently exceeds expectations.

I looked over a number of reviews at different rating levels and was surprised how different some student’s impressions were compared to mine. Although I did notice a number of reviews were from people who never became a full Goat Academy student.
My experience at the GOAT Academy has been outstanding. I thought I had a good level of understanding of the stock market prior to joining. It didn’t take me long to realize I had only scratched the surface of understanding.
First, the live GOAT Academy lectures are just outstanding. There are many parts that I have found very useful, and here are a few that stand out to me:
1. Even though topics are repeated, the opportunity to ask questions live and look at the current stock charts of various stocks makes each lecture somewhat different.
2. The coaches give the lectures. I’m amazed how much work they put into the lectures and how well they condense the information and distribute it.
3. During the lectures, there is time for live questions and chances to review stock charts as a group.
4. Many of the coaches include giving us google sheets and docs with calculations, and ways to follow, track our results, evaluate stocks financially, calculate stop losses, screen for potential breakout stocks, etc.
5. The coaches put a lot of effort into their slides and make them available to us regularly. They make every effort to answer questions for us and even offer to make an appointment through the GOAT Academy website for further follow-up.
6. During the lectures, there is time for live questions and chances to review stock charts as a group.
Second, I think the coaching is absolutely critical.
1. The chance to review what I’m doing with an expert coach, and ask questions about specific scenarios in trading, screening, risk management, entrance and exit strategies is better than it was described to me before I joined.
2. Being able to review technical aspects of charts, learn to identify breakouts and optimal entry points, how to manage difficult situations one-on-one are just amazing.
3. It is true that each coach has a different way of looking at things, so the coaches although they teach the breakout method of stock entrance, also trade options in many cases and also use other methods as well. I think that diversity in styles of trading and teaching are actually a benefit and not a drawback.

4. I’ve worked with a number of coaches over the last few months and each one of them has provided great advice and feedback on any questions I have had. I haven’t been disappointed with a single coach (or lecturer for that matter) in any way.
One might think that choosing the right stock is the most important task to learn. But the real answer to success (at least in my opinion) is developing good risk management strategies on every trade. This means planning my entrances, my trade size, and my exits prior to the trade. From day 1 of the GOAT academy, risk management is emphasized again and again. One of the coaches reminds us to “feed your family first” and “live to fight another day” when a stock fizzles out. I had never placed a stop loss or planned exit order prior to entering the GOAT Academy. Now I NEVER purchase a stock without having both an entrance and an exit plan.
Re Felix’s Watchlist: Every weekend we get Felix’s watchlist. More important than getting his watchlist to find out which stocks to invest in, is to use Felix’s list to learn what characteristics of the stocks and the characteristics of the stock chart that caused him to put them on the list, and then spending the time to see which ones really broke-out. You also can use his list to see where he put his entry points and stops. Even when I don't invest in one of his recs, I check out the entries and stops.
Coaching and lectures on screening: During coaching and live sessions, I have found it invaluable to learn the process of screening, specifically looking at sectors and industries, and technical chart features involved in finding stocks that are close to breaking out or breaking out. The GOAT Academy Coaching and lectures reinforce the importance of learning how to screen for potential breakout stocks without having to depend on Felix’s list alone.
If these things weren’t enough, I have found the lectures from coaches who were market makers to be fascinating. The world of market makers hedging with options and dictating when buying and selling occur is a world that I had no understanding of until the GOAT Academy. Twice a week, we discuss this topic in live lectures.
The GOAT academy teaches its students to be successful not just during the academy, but prepares you for trading and investing after the academy. I'm grateful to the Goat Academy for the opportunities to learn under great teaching so that I can provide for my family's future.

I came across Felix's youtube content and followed it for about a year before overcoming my skepticism and giving the academy a try.

I'm sorry I did not sign up sooner. The academy staff are always available and responsive, and genuinely want to see you succeed. The academy has changed my perspective on investing, and its making a real difference. Overall, signing up has been worth it, and I would stay on longer if I could.

My experience with the Goat Academy has been extremely positive. The coaches are highly knowledgeable, all coming from strong trading and investment backgrounds. They are supportive and bring a calm, practical approach to navigating the markets, often complemented by a refreshing touch of light humour.

One of the biggest benefits for me has been learning to think like a trader rather than simply an investor, particularly when it comes to risk management. This shift in mindset has significantly reduced the “gambling” element of trading.

I joined the academy already in profit after nearly two years of trading, but I quickly realised that a large part of those gains was down to luck. Since then, I’ve developed a more disciplined approach: reducing position sizes, diversifying across sectors, and gaining a clearer understanding of when to buy and, just as importantly, when to sell.

The coaching and training are well structured, with clear, real-world examples that make it easy to apply what you learn in practice.

Overall, it has been a great experience and a worthwhile investment in both my trading skills and financial mindset.

The coaches in the Goat Academy all have significant experience in the markets, and each brings a different perspective as to what has made them successful traders. For example, I was able to meet 1-on-1 with Jesus Rodriguez and discuss our backgrounds in the oil and gas industry. Then he shared how his work background led to his interest in trading oil and gas futures.

Jesús is always informative and knowledgeable. He presents a calm understanding of investment strategies and is patient with those of us less knowledgeable. The calls seem to go by too quickly. I look forward to our next call and will dive deeper into options strategy.

I am very happy to be a part of the G.O.A.T. Academy!!… I think that the program is very thorough and you can learn any and all things related to stocks and the stock market. The staff and people that help you along the way are very patient and informative to help you navigate through the courses, videos, and classes. And I really want to show a lot of appreciation for the coaches that actually teach you the strategies of investing and trading. I am a current student. I have been enrolled for approximately 4.5 months now. Having attended many of Felix's webinars, I took the plunge and joined the academy. The first day was a little daunting as I learned to navigate the program. I decided to just attend a lesson and take it from there. As I am based in Australia, I found that I can't attend all the live lessons I want to. However, as the lessons are recorded, I am normally able to watch them overnight. So it is still convenient. As an investor with previous experience I chose to begin with an open mind. I learned so much from coaches Matt, Jesus, Brett and Carlos on how to structure a trading week, each trading day, how to pick winning stocks, when to get out of trades. Since then I have moved onto more advanced coaching with regards to options trading with coaches BK and Patrick. Coach Elliott has been a complete revelation teaching about market structure. I now trade options with confidence having had no knowledge of how it all worked before. There are mentors available around the world to call at all hours. I have used 5 different mentors so far. The one-on-one mentoring I receive from coaches Troy and Andrew in particular has been invaluable, from a psychological point of view, as well as the many hours of guidance they have offered along with friendship has made me very pleased with my decision to join and make a permanent change to my investment profile. Now I will teach my children how to build wealth right from the start of their working lives.

I’ve been a GA student since mid-December, and I want to share my honest experience.

To be completely transparent, I was very skeptical before joining the program. It’s quite expensive — at least by my standards — and that made me question whether it was truly worth the investment or if it might be some kind of scam. I had been following Felix on YouTube for a while, and I really liked the way he explained things. He sounded genuine and knowledgeable. After some time thinking about it, I decided to take the leap and give it a try.

My journey didn’t start smoothly. I joined GA during a transitional period, and at first, I honestly felt like I might have thrown a lot of money away. However, I raised my concerns — and I was heard. I was assigned a new Customer Success Manager, and from that point on, things changed significantly for the better. I started receiving proper guidance and structured support. Today, I can confidently say that I’m glad I joined.

There are very good coaches in the program, all with strong experience and deep knowledge. I’ve learned something valuable from every coach I’ve had sessions with. Although the program follows a specific trading approach, each coach brings their own perspective. This allows you to see different angles and gradually build your own strategy instead of blindly copying someone else.

That being said, after three months, I am still far from recovering my investment. With a small portfolio, progress can be slower. But I genuinely feel that I’m improving every day and building the foundations needed to eventually scale and perform consistently.

Here’s what you should expect from this course:

This program teaches you how to build your own framework. The coaches guide you, but the decisions are yours. You must put in the effort.

On top of that, I especially appreciate Elliot’s weekly sessions. He reviews the past week, discusses what to expect in the coming one, and brings wisdom, patience, and rationality to the table. His approach helps cool down emotions and reinforces disciplined decision-making.

Overall, GA is not a shortcut to quick money — it’s a structured learning environment for people who are willing to put in the work and think long term.

My experience with Goat Academy

I joined Goat Academy to learn more about investing and trading, and my experience has been positive.

The coaching structure includes both junior and senior coaches. In my experience, the junior coaches focused more on explaining the fundamentals and how the academy approaches the markets, while the senior coaches shared broader insights based on their own experience.

I also took part in some 1-to-1 sessions, which were useful because they were adapted to my current level of knowledge.

This has been my personal experience so far.

In the mid 1970s, I majored in finance at a top-tier graduate business school. We were taught to make investment decisions based primarily on a detailed analysis of financial statements. Industry performance was downplayed. Stock charts were only used for after-the-fact review, strictly to measure historical results. We learned basic option theory, but more sophisticated instruments like spreads were barely referenced. Frankly, when attempting to apply this guidance throughout the following decades, I never had good results. For a few years, I even taught evening classes in finance and accounting at local colleges, so I could see that the recommendations presented in later textbooks failed to evolve much beyond what I had originally learned. Since then, I've looked around for practical alternatives, including scanning through YouTube channels. That's where I discovered Felix; he was informative and entertaining (and I like dogs) so I became a regular viewer.

About three years ago, when I was 70 years old, my wife died after a long illness. Her care had been very expensive, so I continued to work full time. Saving for my retirement hadn't been a priority. Even though I wasn't in the best frame of mind, I subsequently joined the Goat Academy and found both its advice and overall approach to be extremely beneficial. Since then, I've managed to finally retire after more than tripling the balance in my retirement account. I've achieved similar results investing the life insurance payouts that our two sons received.

Finally, s special callout to Hannah Bootes, my assigned Client Success Manager, who works hard to ensure I continually get the full benefit of my membership.

Needless to say, I can recommend this program without hesitation. The peace of mind alone makes it worth the cost.

The coaches that I have met so far have been great. There are many choices and I am working my way through them. It seems to me that the structure is getting better however I feel that their needs to be a more structured framework going through the classes based on the students knowledge or lack thereof. Over all I am pleased with the progress so far. The one area I lack is finding the right stocks. The screening course is very good that Carlos teaches, I just need to get better. Also Jesus, Matt and Jea have provided me with an abundance of knowledge so much in fact that I have started reading again to further increase the knowledge that I lack. Thank you all for your training and guidance.

This is right place to learn how to invest and trade like the professionals. Discipline is the core attribute that you must digest to be successful in the game, the coaches are are great. If you need something just ask and they will help. Ella my CSM was absolutely fantastic.

Overall great experience.
The coaches were all knowledgeable and provided several useful approaches to trading, risk management, automation, psychology, etc.
My singular quibble is that the plan was too unstructured to start, though they have been improving that drastically thought fantastic customer services people like Hanna B. I paid for the six months of mentoring and still felt like I could have used more, but that is because I kept trying new things.

I had been out of the market for almost 3 years because it seemed every time I put money into the market it would immediately tank, and I would panic and pull back out. I found Felix's videos online and he seemed very reasonable.

After wrestling with the implications of throwing thousands of dollars at a financial education with someone I only knew through YouTube videos, I decided to jump in. The first thing to know is that this is a legitimate financial education program, not just an internet scam, which was my initial concern.

I started learning the "Wall Street Protocol" and applied it with very small investments to see whether it would really work for me. After a few missteps, I found my stride and started making money in the market. Not retire tomorrow kind of success, but it started to give me confidence that I might be able to grow my investments over time and not have to work until I die in my cube at work.

I have seen some mixed reviews on the program, and the honest truth is that the coaches all have different backgrounds as professional investors. This gives them different perspectives on the best way to invest under a given set of circumstances. They don't always give the same advice, but I have found exposure to the different approaches to be helpful. Each approach to solving the riddle of the market will resonate with some people and not others. The trick for me was to find the coach whose goals were most closely aligned with my own - and make no mistake, the range of goals of the students in the program cover a large spectrum. Some people are conservative, and some are swinging for the fences with every investment. Know your comfort level and work within that realm.

Talking to only one coach, who doesn't line up with your preferred path can be frustrating. You can get time with any of the coaches, so just watch their group sessions and see who makes the most sense for you and set up time to talk with them. I see it in the group chats - everyone seems to have a favorite coach and tends to stick with them.

The investment program you sign up for comes with a video library covering the details of that method. This gives you a framework to build on. One-on-one discussions with coaches helps you to fine-tune your approach.

Learn to invest with a plan, not with emotion.

They do know, what they are doing, and boosted my gains to more in 3 months, that, what I had in a year.
Especially useful are the insights on options and Felix' Screeening-Process, as well as the Hedging-Guidance by Agustín, or the Market-Psychology by Daniel, Brett, Byung, and in general by his staff, who do come as professional, as it can get.
Hanna's support and personal management are forthcoming to the degree, that You can say, that she ist heeding my interests as much as her own.
The prices are not cheap, but very much worth the fee/tuition.

I'm currently a student of the goat academy. I came into the academy already profitable as an investor/trader over a 5 year period. I became interested in it by watching Felix You Tube videos. The mentors are great and the program is excellent. Some of my favorites were WSP and individual mentors were Carlos, Elliot, Jesus and Matt. Spent the most time individually with Jae because he really listens to my crazy insights about the market.He is also very good. He would be best for students with experience and focus on medium term trading. Spent some time in the beginning with I believe Giancarlo but I might be wrong about the name who communicated a lot of useful information about my personal journey and the market. There are a lot of experienced great mentors and I have only utilized the skills of a few. One thing you will figure out is that they all trade differently. This helped me to determine that as an eclectic investor/trader from long term, options and day trading, I might need a little more focus depending on the market because sometimes you can't see the forest for.the trees. Felix and his insights are the overall picture or the forest. The goat academy provides you with the mentors or trees that teach you how to trade based on technicals, fundamentals, and their individual styles. BK is also good at overall and diversification.Brett will help with anything you ask. I wish I would have utilized him more in options trading but I still can. The one thing I could say that it would improve the platform is a more individual approach to navigating it since it can be quite overwhelming when entering the goat academy. The platform is definitely always improving to help a new student navigate it. One of the reasons I had joined was because I actually wanted a break for a bit because you can never take a week off of the stock market. You need to realize they aren't giving trades but teaching you how to figure it out yourself which is invaluable although time consuming. Before entering I would advise that you have enough time for what's ahead. If you are a beginner, make sure you allocate enough time. Possibly starting on a vacation from work or have the ability to really dedicate yourself on nights and weekends. If you are experienced, it will still take quite a bit of time to get to the next level.I recommend at least a few days to determine what you need how to navigate it in the beginning. Determine what your goals are and what you need to learn more about before or at least when you enter the program. As a career psychotherapist that has been on hiatus for several years and enjoys her freedom, I havent worked a nine to five in awhile and use 2 cell phones to trade. A reacquaintance with a laptop would have been useful for me before entering. Lol. As a woman that takes care of everything in her financial life and otherwise, I admit I have not utilized this program as well as I could have thus far but it has helped me improve very much by classes and mentor teaching. Even learning about how AI can be utilized by Carlos to gather information quickly in fundamentals, technicals and news. He is also very good at determining whether the fundamentals are there for a stock in which you might be interested. I continue to appreciate Felix and what he does for the retail trader so we aren't blind to market manipulation and to remember the importance of sectors and what's going on in the world. Just based on Felix's brilliant insights and generosity and sharing what is going on with the common man, the goat academy is worth it. However with mentor teaching you get so much more to navigate the market successfully. The platform makes a point of improving to help us on our personal journeys in the stock market.

The training and mentoring program has transformed my financial management and really helped me move on my understanding. The material and classes are well thought out. The coaches are really friendly and talented at getting you to learn to trade for yourself. I came into the program hoping to achieve growth of 15% a year to help manage my assets for the future and thanks to the training I have managed to grow 30% in 6 months.
