The board itself is nicely crafted and i used a lot in the last two weeks. The perfect companion for traveling - it even fits into my hand luggage suitcase ;)
The folding and locking system works super reliable, there was no need for manual adjustments.

BoardUp is an great product perfectly suited to my needs. The built is excellent quality and the customer service is top notch. I would highly recommend this product to family, friends and strangers alike.

Besides someone jamming the lever into the deck and me having to hammer it out, the board is nice. My few conplaints would be for one, its hard to avoid scraping the back of your shoe against the griptape when closing the board. The bearings and trucks are alright, but mediocre at best. It doesnt look like itll be easy to change out the trucks. The griptape has been applies over the hardware, so in order to get to it you must either cut or pierce the griptape. I was going to see if i could get to the truck but was confused why the harware jut wouldnt come lose and i forgot about the screw on the otherside since i couldnt see it. So when i was trying to put it back on i had to pierce the griptape with a knife and then drive a screwdriver in there. So now i have a small hole in my grip which is annoying.

Really cool product, basically the only one of it's kind. Had for some time, doesn't seem like it has durability issues. Love it.

The boardup is a genius invention. It made my commute so much faster and fun. The opening and closing mechanism is so easy and confortable to use (got it right the first times, these videos with people struggling to spin it open don't make justice to the latest revisions). Only minor downside is the package that arrived in not perfect shape with the manual sheet teared, but it's all forgiven once you start riding it.

Riding my board up is the best part of my day. As a general carving board, it rips... and as a commuting tool on the train and the bus it's perfectly sized and fast to fold. You have done a wonderful job engineering this board to flip up perfectly, and stable with it's folded... all while skating well.

I live in Germany and bought BoardUp V3.1 from their website and I was surprised by how fast and smooth the whole buying/delivery experience was. Now the board itself is just amazing. It makes my everyday commute so much easier and just within a few days I could easily learn how to drive it and how to use the special folding mechanism. In a matter of seconds I can open the board and drive a little bit and if I have to walk again I can fold it up equally fast and it does not disturb anyone while walking in crowds. And of course the small size when folded up is a big plus, because it can be stored in quite a small locker without a problem. All in all I would definitely recommend it to everyone who has to walk a lot on his commute and wants to make his life a whole lot easier.

Great Board! I get some very confused looks when I fold it up, all part of the fun! Nice and compact and stands up on its end for easy storage under a desk. Postage took about 10 days, due to a delayed dispatch but DHL's tracking was spot on with their estimated delivery time. BoardUp were very pleasant in their correspondence...can't fault. Everyone should have a BoardUp v3.1

Great product with fantastic customer service!

I love this foldable skateboard. It has revolutionized my commute. I am a beginner skateboarder - so I don't use it on the streets - but I ride it on a wide paved walkway (which is level & straight - haven't used it on hills/curves) beside the water to link up with the NYC ferry system. I can almost imagine I'm surfing! It's easy to fold/unfold; and comfortable to ride (there is a small rectangular gap in the center - around the handle/hinge - but this has not been a problem for riding). It's lightweight to carry and fits in my backpack so I can conveniently pack it away out of sight for work. I only wish I'd started skateboarding earlier!!

We bought 3 fo theses, one for me and my fiancee and one for our friend. We love them! A bit of a hassle with DHL in Sweden but that is on the shipping company not on BoardUp.

I'm a beginner and have only tried out a longboard of a cheaper sort and wasn't so impressed. With BoardUp the feeling of crusing was so smooth and easy to curve. The board is flexible, for me weighing around 60kg it's perfedct and flexible so you feel really close to the ground, easy to curve! In higher speeds you might want to adjust and tighten the trucks so it dosen't wobble.

As a beginner this board is perfect for a first time longboard. We have in mind to use theses boards of a means of transportation. I will be using this in combination in my commuting to work. Perfect to carry and easy to fold.

Still working on my balance and love to go out and ride the BoardUp! We'll be taking them out on our travels and just ride along beaches, and here in Sweden we have perfectly long roads to ride on.
