Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 74 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported payments of £40.56 being debited or attempted from their accounts that they did not recall authorizing, often without any prior knowledge of the company or having subscribed to any service. People frequently discovered these transactions through their bank's alerts or by checking their statements. Reviewers expressed frustration over unexpected charges and the recurring nature of these attempts. Many had to contact their banks to block further payments, cancel services they did not recall initiating, and often had to replace their debit cards. The company's website was described as vague, offering little clarity on their services, and attempts to contact them for refunds or cancellations were often met with unresponsiveness or limited options. While some banks were proactive in blocking or refunding these payments, other customers faced difficulties in getting their banks to resolve the transactions, especially if Apple Pay was involved.

Suspect

Out of the blue I have had a charge on my bank account for £46.52 by this company which I had never heard of. It is currently being challenged with my bank.

Baffled and upset

This company, who I've never heard of, tried to take £40.56 from my account overnight. Fortunately, my credit card company queried this as fraud and it wasn't paid.
I will contact company to 'cancel ' a subscription that I wasn't aware I took out.

Fraud FRAUD, FRAUD

My subscription to CONNEXION was said to be cancelled by email. I pressed to resubscribe. And unbeknown to me, it took me to the GO CARE SITE. I feel foolish and stupid to have been conned this way. I have informed my bank.

This is a fraudulent website

This is a fraudulent website. Today they tried to take 40.56 from my account. Fortunately, I never leave any money in my current account unless I am paying for something.
I noticed the declined payment and did not recognise either the amount of the company.
Like many others I went onto the website which is ambiguous at best. I did not fill out my details to unsubscribe as I had not subscribed in the first place. My guess is they are trying to collect more details on you, so please proceed with caution if your give them your details I suggest you just contact your bank and ask them to block any other payments to this scam company.
I have gone one step further and had my cards blocked and any reoccurring payments unlinked to my account. It's a bit of a pain as I now have to resubscribe myself to all my genuine accounts but I don't want one penny to these scammers.
Be vigilant everyone.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Tried to claim £40.56 from my account. I phoned bank right away to cancel. They also passed me to their fraud team. I have never heard of this company. Again no idea how they got my information. Hopefully my bank will refund me.

I have been investigating this

I have been investigating a similar transaction on my account which keeps repeating as an attempt to take a standing order. My banks fraud team have now linked the transaction details to a legitimate car park payment which came through as GTR parking Ecom. This had been made on line (not via barcode) using APCOA car parking for a stay at Potters bar station. Within minutes of this transaction I had received an email similar to those described below and a few days latter, attempts at repeat transactions. The bank say the transaction codes used in by gocare help are from the APCOA/GTR transaction. DO NOT USE LINKS IN THE EMAIL TO CANCEL you will only give them more info, contrary to the advice of one post on this thread who suggest to do that.

Scammers

I bought a Bose speaker from Amazon, and the QR code on the box to register with Bose took me to a site asking for bank details. I assumed this was to do with Bose so I filled it in. Next day Tesco Bank called to say gocarehelp.com had tried to take £40.56 from my account. Luckily they recognised it as fraud and blocked it. If you go on the website there is a button to unsubscribe using your email and last 4 card numbers which I pressed. I got an email confirmation that I am unsubscribed so hopefully this will end it.

Go Care Help, but not that helpful

A link apeard ad my wife was trying to order some pictures from her university graduation, it asked for her card details, but it wasn't for the pictures.

This 'company' took over £40 from my wife's bank account. The phone number will not be answered and the chat doesn't allow any questions apart from the ones they want to answer.

We have emailed and asked for the money to be refunded. There was a response to say the account was cancelled, but no word of a refund.

Hopefully, they will refund her. If they do, I will update this, if it is allowed.
