4 Areas Lacking with Customer Service
I like the product, but the customer service was lacking in 4 ways. I was clear about a deadline so someone should have alerted me that a proof was waiting for review, and when I called to check on the job's delivery, I was told that the product was scheduled to ship the day it needed to, but the person didn't actually check on the job or they would have discovered it was actually not far enough along to ship on time. furthermore, it was shipped assembled, which caused undue wrinkling and rubbing/wear in places. Also, the first half of payment was due when ordering, the second half on shipping or receipt, but the second payment was taken before the product was even produced, let alone received and inspected. There was no permission to save payment information for automatic taking, so that concerns me that it saved. I hope it's been deleted. I was considering purchasing multiple displays but no longer am.

I regret that you were disappointed with these aspects of your order. I would like to respond to the points of concern:
1. With regard to the emailed proof for the graphic, this is a necessary step to insure that the graphic is correct and that our clients do not want to make any changes to the graphic prior to sending them to print. If we do not receive a response from the emailed proof, our graphic designers will follow up within a day or two. I understand that in this case it was time sensitive and that we could have communicated this process better up front.
2. We do ship this product with the graphics applied as we find that it is easier for our clients to set up this way and saves time. The stretch fabric will smooth out typically within a few minutes once the display is set up. We have not experienced issues with wear due to this process and if your graphics are damaged we will be glad to replace them.
3. With regard to the payment the terms on our quote state that a 50% deposit is required to start the project and that the balance is due prior to shipping. When a credit card is provided based on those terms, we charge 50% to start the order and then charge the balance prior to shipping. We typically charge that balance at least a day prior to shipping so that if there is any issue with the charges clearing, then we have time to contact the client and resolve it before it would delay the shipment. In this case the balance charge occurred three days prior to the ship date. If our terms and process were not clear on this point, I apologize.
Again, I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations on this order and if there is something that I can do to rectify this issue or your concerns with Godfrey Group I would be glad to discuss this further with you.
