Excellent service from Goldbank

We were extremely happy with the service we received from Goldbank. From start to finish, everything was straightforward, professional and very easy to deal with.

The communication was excellent, the valuation was clear and the whole process of selling our gold was quick and hassle-free. We felt we were treated fairly and kept informed throughout.

The payment was made promptly and everything went exactly as promised.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Goldbank to anyone looking to sell gold. A genuinely excellent service from a company we would happily use again.

Took longer than 2 days to approve my details, as advised online. Apparently my identification wasn’t visible and a request was made to send it across again, although I did not receive that.

Very good service

Phoned in advance to get a price to sell a coin. Went to the Green St store and they would not honour it, saying the price only applied to the Southall store. Showed them their internet price and they upped their offer a bit, but still 5.5% less than their internet price. We eventually agreed the sale only to be told there would be a further 2% charge for a bank transfer. Did the transaction anyway, for cash.
Next day I complained by email and was answered by the Southall store. They refunded me the difference between their telephone quote and what Green St paid. They also said there should not have been any charge for the bank transfer.
Keep clear of the Green St store. At least the Southall store made up for it.

I would have preferred to gamble on a cheaper postage option though, the price for which is not obvious.

Also there's an ID check with a non-UK firm involved too, not to happy about sending them a copy of my passport for something costing half less than my weekly shopping bill.

Once I had placed my order the delivery was fast secure and efficient. The initial security check was very lengthy and would not accept my date of birth ! The website was slow and not very easy to use.
