They delayed our ferry more than 20 hours without any information or support. We were only told there is a weather concern by the cafe owner, no one from golden star ferries ever made contact with us. Every time we spoke to a representative at the office they yelled at us saying it was leaving soon. We were given no water, food or shelter and lost a full nights accommodation. We could have caught a flight if they did not provide us false and incorrect information. They are now refusing to provide any compensation for leaving us stranded at the port for over 20 hours. An absolute disgrace. Do not, I repeat DO NOT GO WITH THEM.

During my recent visit to the store on board the Andros Queen, I encountered unacceptable behavior from one of the store employees. The employee was extremely slow in attending to customers and was engaged in personal conversations while others were left waiting. When I politely asked her if there was a mirror in the shop (I wanted to try some clothes on), she rudely responded by telling me to wait and continued her irrelevant conversation with a man who was in the store.

Of all the ferry companies in Greece, I find Golden Star to be the best. Their ships are much more comfortable, larger and (from my experiences only) have had plenty of room to stretch out and be comfortable. Fares are affordable, staff are friendly and the operation both punctual and efficient too.

DO NOT USE FERRY SCANNER OR GOLDEN STAR FERRIES.

I booked a Ferry with them a month in advance from Rafina to Tinos.

I arrived to catch the ferry, and was informed they had changed the departure to Lavrios port an hour away.

I had to pay €55 euros in taxi, and naturally missed the ferry which was leaving at the same departure time. Then had to pay €70 euros to travel with a different company.

I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY EMAIL INFORMING ME OF THE CHANGE FROM EITHER FERRY SCANNER OR GOLDEN STAR FERRIES.

Neither company are accepting any responsibility and are refusing to cover any costs or refund the ticket that I was not able to travel on, as they changed last minute.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS

We'd booked on the web a trip Mykonos/Rafina. Everything was alright and we arrived at time.

After a terrible cancellation experience with SeaJets, Golden Star stepped in and did what they were meant to. Got us on the boat, to our destination and off again, with as little hassle as possible.
Same on the journey back.
