They don't pay investors

They don't pay investors. They were originally goldenunits.com but have recently changed to goldenunits.net hoping to evade their current investors and hook new ones with a new domain. I invested in mid 2025 in a place in Dubai as a partner by buying one of their units that they managed. A month later they said they had an offer to buy the unit for a decent profit and I had no choice to sell as they controlled everything. Part of the profits I used to buy another unit.

In December of 2025 I tried withdrawing some alleged profits from the unit I bought that they manage, at this time they said they changed their policy for security reasons and I had to pay 6,000 to withdraw profits. This seemed suspicious but at the end of January 2026 I paid the 6,000$ and was supposed to receive the withdraw by bank transfer. They then said they had missed a mortgage payment and I had to pay another 1,000$ penalty, I foolishly did, the withdrawal never came.

I was still having problems withdrawing my original funds from bitpay crypto platform so their founder recommended I use the golden units lawyers as he was aware of these types of crypto withdrawal issues. I sent him an 8,100$ payment to facilitate the crytpo withdrawal and never heard from him again, he stole it.

I've hired a lawyer and what I've been told it's a ponzi scheme where they use other investors money to pay earlier investors. They are under investigation by the DOJ and have vacated their USA office.

Don't send them any money as they never pay out and will look for ways to extract more money from you. The unit I supposedly bought from my profits is still listed for sale on their site, from what I've deduced they don't buy any real estate or manage any properties, they just operate as a ponzi scheme.

I dealt with their alleged CEO and her only purpose was to try to extract money from me.
