It seems that Golding homes have quite a lot of rogue employees they seem to do what they want. They don’t care about anybody else apart from their themselves. The manager seemed to back them up. The managers lied to you by saying they’re sorting it out. I leave it in hands of an idiot, which does nothing about it and when it hits a fan back the area I tried to push new tenants agreements against everybody which it does not apply to old tenants it only applies to new tenants so they try to enforce the new tenancy laws onto old tenants which does not work. I know you get from them is it might be this? It might be that we do this we do that and when it comes to it, they do nothing and I wonder why Tenant is to get annoyed and lose their temper with my phone and then they go you’re being abusive towards us and put the phone down on us but they’re the ones that caused the abuse. You have some good employees but there’s a lot of bad employees and a quicker on upper management. Sort this problem out the better Golding homes will be but until then it’s do as I say not as I do golden homes don’t care about a 10 is there any interested in money more money through the door a bigger profit at the end of the year the biggest mistake Golding homes done was went away from charity to privatisation. I’m supposed to be a nonprofit organisation and all the money is supposed to be reinvested into the properties or when are you gonna start doing that? How many more houses do you need to build? Eventually the money was to start sitting there and building up because it will be drawn more rent and what’s actually going out we give everybody a big pay rise but the tenants get nothing.

Golding homes does not care about their…

Golding homes does not care about their tenants or neighbours communication repairs complaints are treated as a joke you are better never renting from this housing association and pitching up a tent in their carpark all they want to do is pass complaints to other services like solicitors housing ombudsmen or just not reply at all making you keep calling emailing then as visiting them at their offices is a joke if you don't have a appointment

How they aloud to do housing I wouldn't let them loose a zebra crossing they're morons with out fail running alive still they can't clear them they should be band for running properties they could not run a bath the CEO should be fired and all the staff should follow slum landlords through and through they're useless beyond words I am disabled sleeping on my armchair as I cannot use my bedroom due to the bugs the ombudsman have sent them a letter the works they're doing is not working they do not care and should be disbanded
They lie and the previous tenant had the same problem they lie and lie

Shocking incompetence! Worst I’ve EVER seen!

Still waiting for soffits fascia and gutters to be replaced/updated from the ORIGINAL ASBESTOS CRAP today is the second time they’ve sent a surveyor out from the same company to take a sample of the asbestos cement soffit AGAIN!? So I take it they’ve lost the sample report from the first time so now they’ve had to pay to have them do it again. Very expensive anything asbestos. Why can’t they just get on with it. I used to work in compliance in that industry so I know what I’m talking about here. They then tell everybody “they can’t do the soffits and fascia’s as the company they use to remove the asbestos is only small and they have booked in too much work already this summer!” So thier saying there’s no other company they can use??? Something very wrong here that’s for sure can’t believe others haven’t picked up on this? I wonder if Kent County Council are aware of Golding Homes’s “conundrums”???

This association needs investigating

I wouldn’t give Golding homes 1 star if i could, absolutely appalling association, mismanagement throughout, ignoring complaints, leaving repairs undone for months, major repairs with threat to life .even with proof of asb by other residents, they do nothing and blame you refusing to provide evidence of what they have done even when legal council involved, staff members in the same department don’t confer with one another they allow all other residents to do some things but tell us we can’t threaten us with legal action for their mismanagement and left us open to intimidation, harassment and criminal damage, outside sources involved but they ignore them. This association is a disgrace and needs a complete overhaul. I know many many people feel the same. The media should intervene there is a box underneath this review that says you can let Golding homes know about your review, they won’t do a thing, I know a resident waiting for an answer to their email from 3 years ago

Inept with lack of compassion for…

Inept with lack of compassion for decent tenants. More care is given to their alcoholics, junkies, and nutters, who take up more and more of their properties. The elderly are treated with contempt. GH consistently ignore pleas for help and fail at every level to keep the good tenants safe.

Disgusted!!!

To be honest Golding Homes don’t even warrant the 1 star. Never have I been so disgusted with a company!!! As a full time carer of a young lady that was a tenant with Golding Homes I sadly had to let them know she had passed away and spoke about what I needed to do to end the tenancy, I was told I would be emailed relevant paperwork etc, twice I rang nothing arrived. I went down to head office 2 weeks later to hand the keys in and complain about their lack of compassion of such a delicate situation and the fact that I was still receiving texts and emails to this young lady!!! I asked to speak to someone but I hadn’t made an appointment so was not allowed, you think there would be exceptions!! I put in a complaint which took over 2 weeks to have a response too and was reassured that there would be no more communication to this young lady… I am still receiving emails!!! I have had no updates of the complaint that I had raised. Totally unbelievable and I truly hope no other family have to go through this absolute shambles of a company and the way they deal with the loss of a loved one, unbelievable

Matt is wonderful

Just got off the phone with Matt, friendly and knowledgeable. He listened to all my complaints and found solutions to all.
Now I await a visit to look into the leak. Will update once this happens. Hopefully another 5 star review soon.

They just don't care

Three weeks after taking possession of an apartment - fridge/freezer still not fixed. Zanussi Engineers reported it as incorrectly installed (no base vent). Daughter - a single mother - I'm a parent trying to help - now they've told me GDPR means they won't talk to me.

Since May we've been asked to pack all…

Since May we've been asked to pack all our belongings as we were moving out of our home but we are still in our home 3 months later. We live in a fire hazard home with boxes everywhere, access to doors and windows is blocked by boxes and this is putting us in a very dangerous situation. Imagine there is a fire, it will be very difficult for us to be saved as we won't be able to get out. I have contacted the head of the regeneration many times but nothing is done. The house we're supposed to move into is not ready yet and we continue to live like this!

I've been a tenant for 5 years and have…

I've been a tenant for 5 years and have now made 6 complaints they're not interested in dealing with anti social behaviour, doing repairs particularly damp/mould always blame the tenant, or making sure a 60 year old woman living alone can secure her home when she reports that she can't lock the door inside and out at 10am they don't consider it an emergency. But when you get behind with your rent they don't have a problem dealing with that in a hurry. They don't even deal with complaints with in their time frame.

It has now been five days that I have…

It has now been five days that I have sat in a home with no hot water due to these people and BRITISH GAS, no light and a wet room that is exactly that, permanently wet where it doesn't drain away. The supposed decorators have left paint dripping everywhere and the floors and all light switches etc. are covered in paint. The parts of the place that haven't been painted over are covered in literal filth and excrement and one window can't be secured. I have physical and mental health issues but feel I was safer, cleaner and less likely to disease while I was living on the streets. Simply disgraceful.

Totally Useless!!!!!

Tried ringing to report a repair, phone lines unavailable so I emailed them, they contacted me the following day. I informed them my elderly mother who lives alone, has no bathroom light,the bulb has gone (not an ordinary bulb) there is no window in the bathroom and it is quite dark in there (this was on Thursday) the lady told me someone will be out on Monday, I explained my mother is a vulnerable, elderly lady and the bathroom is really dark without a light or a window, I was then informed an appointment had become available the following day (Friday) hmm strange that.
I received an email with job details which said it was a faulty pull cord, I tried phoning and hooray, the phone line was working, I was 6th in the queue so I hung on, only to get to first in the queue after 2 hours and 5 minutes then yep.... the line disconnected, I was absolutely furious, I sent an email explaining the whole situation and how totally unacceptable this is and surprise surprise, NO REPLY back from them.
Absolutely disgusting!!!

Since moving to a property within…

Since moving to another property within Golding homes have had nothing but trouble. They leave health and safety repairs way over 24 hours. Left all night with a non working toilet and then all night with non working fire alarm/ smoke detector. They then give a cock and bull story but also lie to their tenants snd keep giving false promises and false information. They don't care about the safety of their tenants nor care about safety of vulnerable/ disabled tenants. They often rude to their tenants but quick enough to accuse their tenants who have complex needs that they are being rude. There is evidence of no rudness form the accused tenant. They are lazy and leave cut off material laying in a tenants home and don't clean up after them. Ie cut off wire, screws etc and a standing knife blade knowing the tenant is vulnerable. But yet they want full rent when treating their tenants like dirt. Very poor
