Just returned from a golfing holiday in Belek, Turkey. We had a marvellous time staying at the Sueno Hotel and played the on site courses, the Pines and the Dunes, as well as the National. However, we also played at the Lykia "Links" course which was an absolute disgrace. The semi rough, just off the fairway, was too deep and you wouldn't find your ball unless you were standing directly over it, the bunkers were full of weeds with hardly any sand in them and the greens were so slow that you had to give your ball a proper whack to reach the hole. The clubhouse was basic and when you went downstairs to the locker room and toilets, the smell was terrible. The basic advice is, don't even consider playing this one because the journey out there isn't worth it and you will be disappointed. We thought that Golfbreaks should remove it from their list of courses, it was that bad!
