We're sorry to see your review and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation.
The shoes returned to us showed visible signs of use, including mud, grass, and wear to the soles. As outlined in our returns policy and Terms & Conditions, items must be returned in a new and unused condition to be eligible for a return, refund, or exchange. Unfortunately, once footwear has been worn outdoors, it can no longer be considered suitable for resale.
Despite the shoes not meeting the criteria for a standard return, we still raised your sizing concerns with the manufacturer to investigate whether there was a warranty-related issue. Following their assessment, they confirmed that there was no manufacturing fault with the product. This was communicated to you.
Throughout the process, we clearly communicated our position, the relevant return policy, and the manufacturer's findings via email. We took the time to explain why the shoes were not eligible for a standard return and kept you updated on the outcome of the manufacturer's assessment.
While we appreciate this was not the outcome you were hoping for, we are satisfied that the matter was handled fairly, transparently, and in accordance with both our published returns policy and the manufacturer's findings. Ultimately, the request was for a full refund on a product that had been visibly used and was therefore no longer eligible for return under our Terms & Conditions.
Kind regards,
The Golfstar Team
