My experience was excellent

My experience was excellent, started 12/24 and was funded 01/10. Jared and his team were very good at communicating what was needed from me and willing to respond to any questions or concernsI had within minutes of any text communications I sent his way. when I needed to speak with him he would call promptly or schedule a time to call if he was busy with other clients. Loansnap also had better rates then any other institution I checked with when researching where I wanted to get my loan. Overall this was the easiest cashout refinance I have ever gotten.

Quick, efficient process, and very helpful agents!

LoanSnap promises speed and they mean it! So fast, relatively painless, and the best interest rate I could find. To top it off, my agent listened to my needs and recommended a different re-fi strategy that better met my goals. Wasn't expecting that!

Smooth Sailing

Julian was very helpful. When I had questions he got me answers ASAP, uploading information was a snap and information requested to be uploaded was very quickly address when uploaded.

Loansnap is the most honest, straightforward, and user friendly lender out there

I will definitely recommend Loansnap to anyone. I started with a phone call on Dec 17 and we closed on Dec 30! The best thing Loansnap did was follow through with everything they said on time and with open communication. The whole process was easy and fast. I never wondered what was happening. The system they use to upload docs and communicate is so easy and straightforward = the dashboard shows everything that is going on in a user-friendly format. They make it fun, too. Even with my initial loan application phone call they asked to do it by video call to make it more personal. Everything they did was set up to make the process easy and trustworthy. And everything was on schedule. I think these guys are going to start a trend that disrupts the whole industry... personally I don't really want to work with another mortgage lender besides these guys. Thank you Loansnap.

Lowest rate, lowest points, and lowest charges

I have tried to refi for over a year. LoanSnap was just plain awesome. I have good credit and little debt. That may have played a big part with how easy things went. It closed less than 3 weeks start to when I received escrow refund. They had the lowest rate. The lowest loan charges. And I also took cash out. I sent the info they requested only once. That’s how fast it went. I had worst time with 3 other lenders. It was either good rate with lots of charges or higher rate lower charges and they kept asking for updated info every week even though there wasn’t anything to update. I was waiting for the surprise with LoanSnap on maybe higher cost or rate but I didn’t get any. It’s still not sunk in yet that I’m done with the loan and my refunds in my bank account, in less than 3 weeks!!! Justin Tanaka was the person helping me and then after it was a loan person but they were all great. Wow!!!! Fantastic work. I don’t know anyone I can refer but hope you can believe everything I wrote because it’s true. You can see how much I’ve written and I did it to show my appreciation to this company’s employees. Thank you for helping get my refi done. I almost gave up having decent rate already but I thought, It can’t hurt to try just one more time and I’m Very happy I did. Thanks again Loan Snap.

Smooth process, good communication

LoanSnap provided the smoothest refinance I think we've ever done and communication was top notch. My one disappointment was their value estimator overvalued our home by $100,000 prior to the appraisal, causing us to get less cash out than originally thought in our discussions with them. However, that wasn't a huge issue (just disappointing).

Still need to work on process

The loan process started with having to negotiate from the original offered rate and terms presented on LendingTree.com. Justin was very helpful and personable though, so I proceeded. The required documents for underwriting were requested piecemeal, rather than all at once, which would have been much easier. The document process was very frustrating. Time to close was very fast, so A+ there. The closing was a TRAINWRECK. It was cancelled by LoanSnap two times in a row at the time of closing. On the third try, the documents were a mess with many forms duplicated two and three times in the package in error. The closing agent said in 20 years she had never seen such a mess, so it was not just my interpretation. Lastly, checks for payoffs for accounts were mailed to ME, not the creditors, adding an unnecessary step. If LoanSnap could tighten up their forms and paperwork, it would have been a great transaction.

Very happy with how little time it took…

Very happy with how little time it took to get to close and that I was able to skip 2 mortgage payments. Also happy with no appraisal needed and the fact you did not need as much info about my finances as past experiences have needed.

My loan officer made the whole process…

My loan officer made the whole process positive, there were some minor glitches but they were handled quickly. Overall an excellent experience the ended up saving me nearly 200K IN INTEREST CHARGES!

Overall good experience

Overall I had a good experience with LoanSnap and would recommend. They had the lowest rate and lowest closing costs by far between the 20 different companies I went to. I was skeptical at first because I had never heard of them and they called literally milliseconds after I completed my lending tree profile but Jacob Scavuzzo, my loan officer, spent over an hour on the phone with me and answered all of my questions and calmed my concerns. Jacob was very attentive throughout the whole process and was great to work with. The reason I am giving four stars is that I walked through my whole application with Jacob (which took at least an hour) only to find out I needed to put a refundable $200 deposit down in order to lock in my rate. I would have been ok doing this but i didn’t feel like they were up front about it. They kept saying “I just need (fill in the blank) to lock in your rate” but turns out they needed that and $200 but you don’t find out about the $200 until the end. Additionally my closing documents had to be revised twice due to errors on their part. I still closed in about 30 days which is great and they did honor the 15 day closing guarantee and I received a check for $500. Aside from the issues with the paperwork and the sneakiness about the deposit to lock in the rate, I had a great experience and am satisfied. I would recommend!
