You completed a visit, and your prescription was issued and sent to the pharmacy the same day. When the pharmacy later advised that a prior authorization was required through insurance. You contacted our team again, requesting prior authorization be sent to the pharmacy, however we do not offer prior authorizations through GoodRx Care Direct. While prior authorizations may be required when using insurance, when GoodRx coupon outside an insurance plan, prior authorization is not required.

How many people have gotten ripped off…

How many people have gotten ripped off by this place? I know I can add myself to the list. I paid for their monthly weight loss program. The clinician wrote the prescription quickly however they had a computer glitch that after weeks they could not resolve so they could not fulfill order by mail, they refused to send a prescription to my pharmacy and my pharmacy could not transfer in the prescription. but guess what? Their customer service staff was very polite when I called in but couldn't do anything. Conveniently there was no a glitch in the payment system. That system worked great and GoodRx was able to easily withdraw my fees for services not rendered that were essentially their business proposition.

Abominable Rewards Points Redemption

While the GoodRx process with the Safeway Pharmacy has always been good the process for redeeming accumulated reward points is a nightmare. It is apparently administered by a 3rd party company called Tango. What should have taken less than 5 minutes took over an hour and I had to call back several times. Good Rx "Customer Service" (and they have a pretty much care less attitude telephone # is 855 268 2822 and Tango's Customer Service # is 877 558 2646 and is routed off-shore !!

Stefany D. resolved the situation

I downloaded medicine coupons from Good RX's website planning on paying the dollar amount listed on the coupon. When I went to the pharmacy the rep. told me not to plan on paying that amount. Went home & called Good RX. Spoke to Stefany. She resolved the pricing problem & called the pharmacy advising the price to charge.

Scammers

Goodrx said after answering questions I was eligible for weight loss drugs. Paid my $39 and then they said I did not qualify. No reason for denial. They do not respond to chats! They ghosted me. Do not use or trust them.

It's a very easy to use app

It's a very easy to use app and I have been able to find all of prescriptions. Especially if I need to know side effects for any of them I can look it up on here.

This is GoodRx Care

This is about GoodRx Care. I tried it and got my prescription filled. This process was easy and pretty straight forward. They only do the Prescription for 120 days, so I had to renew it which was an even quicker process.
Here is the problem you will have to pay to renew it every 120 days for the rest of your life, because they will not do the prescription for longer.
I contacted them but they said they could not do longer than 120 days due to clinical Regulations, but this is not true, I have had this same prescription filled by a competitor for 6 months and one year in the past.

Good deal and service

I researched a drug from my prescription that had gone up tremendously and Good RX had a coupon and the list of drug stores where I could purchase my prescription. It went from $90.00 to $20.00

Tried calling customer service which was useless. I was given another number, which I called, on hold for 8 mins and auto voice advised that customer service reps are available. Not a great experience.

Although GoodRx sounds like a program with intentions of saving the public money on medications and prescriptions, beware, because many pharmacy's do not even accept GoodRx.

The $9.99 free Gold trial is not legit. They charge you and even if you cancel within 30 day free trial period they do NOT refund you. I called them and they still tried to not pay me back.

I got the free 30 day Gold trial membership on 12/29/2025. Found out Walgreen's doesn't accept them and that's where I go to get my medication. On 1/2/2026 I cancelled my membership expecting to get a full refund of $9.99. They didn't issue a refund at all and even with a call they were still reluctant. I never even used or got any benefits from their bogus program!

I had to go through my credit card company to get my full refund. How they probably operate is scam as many people as they can for $9.99 and see if they can get away with it.

Shame on you GoodRx, do better or you will be called out. Tricking elderly people relying on medications at a discount and charging them $9.99 a month without providing a bonafide savings they can use is an outrage!

After posting this review, GoodRx came back and honored the refund. That's the right way to do business. Thank you

Ordered medications

Ordered medications. Charged my card immediately. No confirmation email. No tracking. That was three weeks ago, and I have yet to receive them. STAY ... AWAY!

I needed meds for a UTI

I needed meds for a UTI, got cultured and a list of meds that could be used for the exact uti. All Goodrx 3rd party wanted to do is give me Nitro or Bactrim (bactrim was not on the list from Labcorp). When i had an issue, there was nobody else to complain to. For some reason these companies only want to give Nitro or Bactrim as if they are the Mcdonalds french fries of tge pharmacy world. Nitro can be bad for the kidney and I read that Bactrim can cause autoimmune hepatitis. At the very least they could have prescribed ammoxicillIn but they wouldnt.
