Wrong Product Delivered and No Help from Customer Service
We recently ordered a table from Goossens online and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
The delivery arrived at 06:45 in the morning. Changing the delivery time was not possible unless we paid an additional €120 for a new appointment. The delivery staff also did not allow us to open the package to check the product before leaving.
At the noon, when we opened the package ourselves, we discovered that the table color was wrong (we received black instead of natural). We immediately contacted customer service, but they claimed that we must have placed the order incorrectly and informed us that returning the product would cost €120.
There is apparently a free return option to a physical store, but the product weighs 50 kg, which makes this completely impractical.
Another major issue is that the order confirmation email does not include the product color or dimensions, only the product name and a code. This means it was impossible for us to verify whether the order details were correct beforehand. On top of that, the delivery staff did not allow us to inspect the item upon arrival.
We sent two emails explaining the situation, but customer support has not responded since a week.
As a result, we are now stuck with the wrong table, shortly after moving into a new home where we urgently needed one. This situation has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
Based on this experience, I would nıt recommend ordering from Goossens online. If something goes wrong—whether due to the system or a misunderstanding—you may end up paying €120 just to resolve the issue.
After receiving a reply to our message, we called customer service and spoke a second time, but no solution was offered. We were forced to pay €120 as a kind of penalty. We spoke with Mrs. Sandra and we didn't like her attitude at all; she had a blaming tone and never allowed us to speak to anyone else. Moreover, they gave us a return pickup date 15 days later. Something is definitely not right at Goossens.

Broken product delivered
While I appreciate the look of my new tv stand, the fast delivery and the okay price for it I am not happy with receiving a product that is not working perfectly and being pressured into accepting a nearly month long wait for fixing it. The middle leg of my TV stand didn’t screw in properly and was loose. The friendly delivery guys did their best to assemble it and we managed to set it in place and they promised it would be stable enough for my TV, and I hope it keeps being the case. But the whole point of my order was to get quick service. Why must I wait almost a month for a service to fix a product that is delivered broken, instead of you taking the product back and sending a properly working one immediately? This is seriously subpar service.

I ordered sofas with an installation…
I ordered sofas with an installation service, which cost me an extra 120 euros. When the delivery driver called, I told him it would take me 30 minutes to arrive. He then instructed me to contact customer service. When I called, I was told I would need to pay an additional 120 euros to reschedule the appointment. If the installation service wasn’t provided as promised, why can’t you simply deduct the original charge? And if you're going to charge another 120 euros for rescheduling, at least give me the option to choose a delivery time.

Poor customer service on outlet purchase
I recently purchased a sofa from your outlet. (Den Haag)
Unfortunately, I wasn’t told at the time of purchase that there is no return option for outlet items.
When I got it home, I discovered a tear on the bottom that wasn’t visible in the store,
and also the color/size doesn’t work in my space at all.
I’ve contacted customer service several times but haven’t been able to return it.
While I understand outlet prices are lower, I feel customers should still have reasonable return rights, especially in cases of hidden damage.
This experience has left me quite disappointed.

I visited your store and clearly…
I visited your store and clearly explained to the adviser that I needed an electrically operated couch. The adviser showed me the electrical model, and I selected that version based on their explanation.
However, I recently discovered that the order was placed for a non-electrical couch, even though I was expecting — and paid for — the electrical model shown to me in the store.
Since the order details were in Dutch, I did not realize the mistake at the time of signing and trusted the adviser’s guidance. The delivered product does not match what was agreed in the store. I am worried with the service and finally i am the person who got affected now

Professional and friendly service.
The two young men who delivered and installed a buffet cupboard in our home worked very professionally. They were on time, they worked together efficiently to get the furniture installed swiftly and the job was done completely to our satisfaction.
The furniture is very beautiful but…
The furniture is very beautiful but very unstable. And this is not mention on the website. They gave something in plastic to attach it to the wall. But you do not want to make holes in your wall because of a piece of furniture. That’s very much uncomvenient.
