White Mellor Sneakers
Bought a pair of the white Mellor sneakers. Originally hated them as the room at the front of them was massive and for me not true to size, I'm usually bang on with any other shoe.
The leather is solid and does need breaking in, the laces are cack though, wax thins that really have no give when trying to tighten on a loose front. I ordered a pair of Senkel laces and they look and feel a lot better IMO.
Now, the trainers themselves are good quality, as said, they take a bit of breaking in but really well made otherwise. Just , for me , a little in the big size. Lost a star for me on this review as my original review from July has mysterious disappeared from their website,.for 310 quid plus postage, you'd think a little constructive criticism would be tolerated. It would a appear not.
Would I buy from Goral again?
Bizarrely, I probably would try a shoe or boot as the ""sneaker" is more akin to a shoe itself. Not sure if that reflects well on myself or Goral!

I am so sorry to hear the shoes did not fit as you would have expected, as long as shoes are in their new and unworn condition we do offer exchanges or returns within 14 days of delivery and we would have been more than happy to either provide you with a thicker pair of insoles or size you down a half size to get you a perfect fit!
As we are a heritage shoe manufacturer, our lasts can run a little longer than modern footwear brands, so we do always provide a size chart for this reason.
We have taken this feedback on board, and we will review internally to see if there is anything further we can do to help offer our customers the best sizing advice.
We are looking to make a change away from our current laces, so we do also really appreciate this feedback as well!

Communication was great
Communication was great. It took a minute to get the shoes across the pond and to the US PNW, that was expected.
Love the shoes Blood Core Muggs. Got the blood core laces from Rose Anvil (the collab) for them. They look awesome. I got them for my CutMan duties at the PNW region South East Asia style Fights. I wear a Black and red Kun Khmer Official Shirt, black Utilikilt and grey hose with them.
I’ve had leather Chucks before. NO comparison, Goral has its game wired tight. I do wish I would have waited for the wide size, but these are wider than Chucks for sure.
Most of my footgear are wide toe box, except my PNW Logger style boots and boots I have specifically for Rocky Mountainous hunting here in Washington state.

Worst customer service on the planet…
Worst customer service on the planet and thays right next to Comcast. But issue with my order. Not only did they mess up my address and had to send my order twice. Mind you im in the us and they are the UK so we had to wait weeks for each shipment. When I received the items. I was extremely disappointed. I was expecting a pair of leather handmade shoes. And in turn got a pair of awkwardly shaped terribly fitting canvas shoes...they are essentially vans classics. Same minus the vulcanized outsole. They are extremely uncomfortable. You cant even soften the material like leather. They cant be worn. No the issue issue...it'll cost me almost 1/3rd the items cost...mind you literally hundres of dollars, to ship them back. They refuse to pay for shipping even tho they messed everything up originally in the first place. Return shipping with duties etc was over 120 bucks. So now im stuck with a 400 dollar pair of shoes I cant wear and no way to return them due to cost. Look there's far better out there..they advertise heavily due to collaboration projects. Stay away from. Goral. Dont let their small business attitude fool you. They want your money in trade for deceptive goods and terrible customer service.

We'd first like to apologise for the mix up with your shipping address. That was an error on our part, and we're truly sorry for the delay and inconvenience it caused, especially with a second shipment having to make its way all the way from the UK to the US.
We also want to gently clear up what happened with the shoes themselves. This was a mystery box order, and part of what makes these special is the surprise of not knowing exactly what you'll receive. We do try to be upfront about this on the product listing, where we note that the pair inside could be made from suede, leather, or canvas. We completely understand the disappointment of hoping for one material and receiving another, and we're sorry this wasn't the fit or style you were hoping for.
On the return shipping cost, we'd really like to look into this further with you, as something doesn't seem right. Returns made through our returns portal are a flat £50, fully inclusive of duties and everything else, so the figure you were quoted is quite a bit higher than it should be. We would love the chance to understand where that number came from and help make this right.

Not worth the money or wait
Ordered in May was supposed to be delivered in July. Finally delivered in September. No communication. Had to reach out three times for updates. Once the shoes were finally delivered, there were acknowledged quality issues. Gave $50 off for acknowledged quality issues on a $400+ shoe. I received neither a $400 quality product or service.

I got the Roma in brown suede in a mystery box and they are by far the highest quality sneakers I’ve ever laid my hands on. Cannot recommend highly enough

I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy one. It fits like a glove, and the leather is incredibly soft and comfortable.
However, be prepared to wait. It took about four months for mine to be ready, and the delivery time was average.

CAUTION Mellor11 trainers can harm you!
bought a pair of Melloe11 trainers and was delighted when I received them. However I wore the trainers and was in agony from blisters they left. Waited for blisters to heal and tried with thicker socks, more blisters. Have worn them in total four times and contacted GORAL with my complaint. Said there is nothing they can do as I had worn them! Can somebody please tell me how without a crystal ball tell if a pair of shoes are going to blister your feet if you don't wear them. I understand they are leather but I own and wear other brands and have not experienced this before. Sent them back to Goral but they are sending them back to me. Will not be buying from Goral again. Very angry as they cost £265.50

Fit and comfort in leather footwear can be very personal, and while our shoes are made to be worn and broken in over time, I completely appreciate how disappointing it is when a pair doesn't feel right for you specifically. We do our best to help with fit concerns, which is why we offer sizing and fit guidance before purchase and are always happy to talk through it.
On returns, our policy- like most footwear makers - is that we're unable to accept items back for refund once they've been worn outside, as we can't resell them.
I know that's frustrating when the issue is comfort rather than a fault, and I'm sorry the outcome wasn't what you hoped for.

Trying to get a response out of customer services for a shoe repair is ridiculous. I have provided photos, emailed them several times via there web site. I eventually tracked down a telephone number and tried to call them where they just hang up! Not the service you would expect from a premium bespoke shoe manufacturer.

On the shoes, your pair is an earlier Mellor, made before we introduced our repair service, and the fault isn't one we're able to put right. I know that's not what you wanted to hear. New shoe, broken pull tab
It was the mystery box, so I should have known an ugly show may come. That said, the heel loop / pull strap was attached to one shoe and broken on the other.
Next time I'll just order what I want.

Mystery box results
Great boots. They fit well, are comfortable, and are a beautiful dark brown. Not sure about the black stripe where the upper meets the last, but perhaps it'll grow on me.
Gambled on the mystery box hoping for a pair of sneakers... oh well!
