Good for new boiler. Terrible aftercare.

Fitted a brand new boiler beginning of last year for our landlord ATAG. That was great no issues. After care, has been diabolical. Landlord has tried numerous times to ask him to come look at fault with system etc. Been numerous days been told attending to be told each time either he hasn't been in touch and just not showed or cancels it last second. Basically once boiler is in and money is paid after that no interest.

For clarity, our contract for the work was with the landlord of the property rather than the tenant directly.


We were initially called to attend a boiler breakdown and arranged for a replacement boiler to be supplied and installed as quickly as possible. Unfortunately there was a short delay with the boiler delivery from the supplier, which was outside of our control, but the installation was completed as soon as the appliance arrived.

Following installation we returned promptly to address a small leak which was identified and resolved at that time.

Several months later we were informed that the system pressure had dropped. We did attempt to attend the property to investigate; however on one occasion we were unable to gain access after arriving as the tenant advised it was not convenient at that time. Unfortunately shortly after this period we were dealing with a house move and illness which delayed a further visit.

It is also worth noting that a loss of pressure within a heating system is commonly related to the wider system rather than the boiler itself. The boiler we installed remains fully covered by the manufacturer’s warranty should any appliance-related fault occur.

During the installation we worked within the conditions present at the property, including ensuring safety around a large dog that was secured in the property, and completed the work professionally despite challenging working conditions.

We always aim to support both landlords and tenants and remain happy to attend and investigate any system-related issues should access be arranged through the landlord.

Replaced old heating with Atag system

Replaced old heating with water tank to Atag combi as advised best to have. Did a great job. Listened to my ideas and changed initial plans for pipe work. Friendly and approachable. Just had 1st service May 25 and just as pleased.

New home boiler service

Bought a new build home and never prioritised the boiler service, surely it’s not that important it was brand new. How wrong I was. I noticed a small leak and contacted Gordon Elliot Solutions requested a service and mentioned the leak. Communication was pretty much instant and booked me in straight away and gave a price up front for the service. He’s friendly and professional and explained everything really well including the importance of a yearly service. Gordon has now set up a yearly reminder for me so I won’t forget or put it off. Thank very much definitely recommend

Fixed our boiler

Gordon came out assess our boiler when in it started leaking. He was very thorough and explained what was going on, also given other helpful insights into the set up of our plumbing. He was able to fix the issue and has since been in touch to check everything is running ok. I couldn't be happier with the service and will definitely be using Gordon from this point onwards. 100% recommend.

New boiler install (ATAG)

Another engineer let me down and Gordon was recommended from a neighbour. He came around and gave me lots of information about the options I had for a new boiler. A quote arrived the same evening with the options discussed, I went with an ATAG boiler with a 12 year warranty as this was the best option for my budget. Everything was soon arrange and boiler installed efficiently despite it being a bit tight for space in the boiler cupboard. Gordon got around all obstacles and was informative throughout the install. I am very pleased with the service provided and have recommended him already to another neighbour

ATAG boiler and new radiators fitted

Excellent communication from start to finish from Gordon. I went with the ATAG boiler and I’m very impressed so far.
We had an old boiler removed from an upstairs room and the new ATAG boiler fitted into the garage, very neat and tidy workmanship and worked around other trades people with no problem.
Would definitely recommend Gordon 👍

We had our boiler pack in, and straight from the first conversation with Gordon, he was generous with his time and advice to help us decide which was the best boiler for us.

Gordon and his team quickly assembled to get the new boiler in, especially with the weather so cold at the time.

We will only use Gordon from now on, he's reliable, engaging, professional, hard worker.

Brilliant service!

Gordon has been brilliant right from the start… from us randomly asking for his help outside screw fix to him coming round that night, helping us & giving us advice! We needed some work doing pretty quickly and Gordon managed to sort us out, he is so knowledgable and generally just a great bloke to speak too!
An all round great guy, friendly, really knowledagble, not one of those awkward workmen who don’t speak… he was lovely and chatted away while working and kept us up to date on progress and explained as he worked away what he was doing.
We’ve already asked him to come back and do some other odd jobs. Thanks Gordon!

Superb service..

Gordon has been absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process of the new ATAG boiler installation. Initially advising on what and why this particular boiler would best suit our needs. The 18 year warranty is very reassuring, as it's a considered purchase. Gordon's work ethic is exemplary, arriving promptly and staying all day and well into Monday evening, ensuring the whole system was functioning properly. He then proceeded to explain and demonstrate how to operate it. Quite simply, if there's a gold standard for heating engineers.. Then Gordon Elliott is worth his weight in gold!! A more qualified, experienced, knowledgeable, personable plumber you could wish to meet!! Superb service from start to finish, from a lovely lad!! Couldn't recommend him more highly. Thank you so much for everything Gordon!!

Excellent Customer Service!

Brilliant experience from start to finish…

Brilliant experience from start to finish with G.E.S.
My boiler refused to work so Gordon came up to see what needed fixing..As it happened the boiler needed several parts ,and it was on todo list anyway for a shiny new one. We were given several choices and informative information for the supply of a new boiler. Gordon also gave us options for our tight budget. In the end we opted for the ATAG boiler which will provide 18 years warranty. It was most expensive option ,but just a little more for top of the range ..
Another important detail was that Gordon managed to install our boiler pretty quickly ,the guy was happy to install boiler while we were away on holiday. I can't tell you how good it felt to have a hot shower on our return..
On our return home Gordon came and set us up with the smart thermostat and explained all the important functions of the new boiler. Chap was easy to talk too and answered any questions I had..( I had a few!!). Gordon kept us informed on progress
while we were away, he even watered our plants!! Overall fantastic service ,highly recommend.
