A very bad service
A very bad service, they never have customer service, they also force you to be with them, because I have tried to cancel the subscription and this is not the option, it is really bad, I hope no one will use the services again
Just a horrible company, go somewhere else.
Currently working with a client to transfer their website over into their own solution. Their domain name was registered through GoSite and when asked to unlock to have it transferred, they threw a tantrum about doing so and threatened not to release the client's domain!! This is incredibly BAD for any company to do! They finally released it after a bunch of back and forth.
But now it is a satuday and their is an error showing in regard to an Invalid SSL Certificate, which is on their end (has to be updated due to the domain transfer) and they are nowhere to be found. Client's website has already been down for over 48 hours due to this nonsense. Should've been a seamless transfer, but this is what happens when you work with shady companys. Do your research people!
I was talked into advanced placement…
I was talked into advanced placement for an additional monthly fee, which I signed up for, 3 months later, the website have not been visited by anyone for the last quarter, I called and some one replied that gosite screwed-up by not activating the advanced placement and they were going to give me a credit for one month and I should see a dramatic increase in the visits to my website, I told them that why one month of credit and you didn't do activation for 3 months, she told me that she will ask for more months but have yet to contact me
I'm loosing patients with this company and I'm trying a different company now for a new website and If they are better; I will switch my account to them

Easy to use, I really like them
Out of all the tools I've used to help my business, this is by far one of the easiest platforms. What's great is all of their tools are connected together into one app. I personally do not like using a bunch of different apps and tools to run my business, which is why I now just use GoSite to manage everything.

Carefully consider
We had a gosite website for over a year and then suddenly had fraudulent activity on our corporate business account that was attributed to gosite's merchant services, which we never signed up for nor did we agree. We have a long-stnading merchant services relationship so we never shop that nor agree to that with anyone. We were told by the merchant services company that a "rep" with gosite had authorized the charges to our account and then suddenly $4,000 gone from the corporate checking, then another $1,600, and then several more attempts. Luckily we have a great relationship with our bank, they caught it an and got everything reversed immediately but we had the hassle of closing the existing accounts and opening all new accounts and all the issues that come with that.
The website does give a "cookie cutter feel" but it was OK. If you are particular about your corporate image be prepared to write and re-write every bit of content because they just didn't ever get it quite right. As for the grandiose SEO that is promised, forget about that coming true. About equivalent to the performance you likely could get from the "cold callers" saying they can guarantee google front page listing, yada yada yada. Overpromised and under-delivered is the best that I can say. Also, from day one we received dozens of calls per day saying our google profile was incomplete and we never had those calls when we had just a one-pager that we did in-house in 20 minutes.

Don’t use them
Don’t use them. After 2 years of canceling with them, I start getting charged a monthly payment for something they never made me aware I would need to cancel separately. I was told they had talked to the other company and had it resolved, but when I contacted the company it was not resolved. Now I can’t get anyone who I’ve previously been in contact with at gosite to return my calls or emails.

He made me feel.comfortabke giving another site more expensive and elaborate site we had and streamlined us to a more workable functioning site. He also impressed me with his knowledge and clear understanding of my business needs and suggestions to integrate my leads and CRM management with his site solutions. He gave me a promise turn around time on our website development job and exceeded expectations in delivery time, styles and theme that I was looking for which is rear. I've worked with other website companies and they don't deliver on most promise dates. His site has more bells and whistles that will make us more efficient and consolidate our work flow. Mr. Wells is an awesome person to work with and his companies product is head and shoulder over similar sites I looked into with their navigation features. Mr. Wells even pointed out things I need for another site we own that he had no direct relationship with but did it as a courtesy to help strengthen our site and security. He and his team are the Real Deal I highly recommend working with them and let them redefine your website options or creat one if you don't have one.

They force you to use their preferred (Getting a kickback from, I am certain.) gateway that requires 3 months of business checking records to get approved. I was informed of this fact after I gave them the down payment for my site. After informing GoSite support that I did not have 3 months of business checking because this was a new venture. I was told they could not do anything about it and I would not be getting a refund. Since I felt like this was a case of them not being able to complete the service I requested, I asked to speak to someone who could make that request happen. I was told that they would bounce it off upper management. After 3 days, I was told this was a hard no. I am very disappointed and feel like they stole my money, since I was given nothing in return. Although, the more I think about it, I feel like I slipped out of a bad situation. Then, add unethical upper management with spines like a wet noodle, who will not speak to their customers directly, but hide behind the service techs, as being a pretty cheap lesson to learn. Furthermore, this entire time, I was never contacted by a developer nor was my site changed in any way.

Decent Block Builder, Limited Customer Service, Slow Site Speeds
A client contracted me to work on their website. The project should have been quick and painless, but instead, I spent hours troubleshooting a login issue with GoSite which took weeks to resolve.
Unfortunately, their customer service isn't trained to handle website issues properly. I waited days only to be asked a fundamental question and was told I was probably creating the problem.
For a block builder, the client's website performs well from an SEO perspective, but GoSite is limited, and customer service is terrible.
*Edited* Edited to add that while the client's website performs well, it isn't great. In digging in further, GoSite makes it nearly impossible to make SEO improvements, with the most significant issue being site speed on mobile. Also, any technical questions go through a non-technical intermediary, which muddies the waters.
As an example, the client's site speeds on mobile are painful. When I offered suggestions, I was told that the issue is that the website is slow on mobile because it has more than three pages. If this is a limitation of GoSite, this is a HUGE red flag. There are tons of sites on the internet that are over three pages and blazing fast on mobile. I don't know if the intermediary doesn't understand or if GoSite it's GoSite's reliance on Javascript.
While you might be able to rank high using GoSite, you can never be number one in a competitive market with a mobile page speed as poor as GoSite is able to deliver for this client.

They made big promises but delivered…
They made big promises but delivered very little. The 1st year was actually pretty good with them then when we went to sign on for a whole other year things went South; especially after we moved from one city to another. They kept debiting our account yet couldn't provide much service other than a hosted webpage, with issues. When we combined, they'd send us a link to whatever so they could pretend like they actually did something for us. Not even 6 months into this year we kept getting Spam emails and Spam text messages from people stating that we were infringing on their copyrighted materials that were on go site. Needless to say, we now do not have an webpage and they never cared to rectify the situation or answer for the claims. That's quite all right, because we paid $1600 for a brand new real website not hosted by anybody- our own personal website created just for us and catered just for us the way that we needed it to be. Full of things that go site could never do. I think we are better off not paying $90 a month for absolutely nothing and we don't get bombarded by fakes saying that we stole their cpoyrigted photo material. We use our own photos, thanks!

I am not a customer, judging from the reviews, I am glad I didn’t sign up.
As anyone will tell you, a site with a plethora of 5 star reviews and just as many 1 star reviews is sketchy at best. I spoke with these people via chat to find out about pricing. The guy wanted all of my business and contact information up front. Of course, I refused and he balked as to whether or not he would provide the requested info. Nice tactic to get my phone, email, etc
just to spam call and email as many of the negative reviewers stated. It is Likely many of the five star reviews are phony or bot generated.Buyer Beware.

I just started using the GoSite Platform for my wife's art studio business. The free version I picked first and everything was delivered as promise. We have already processed are first transaction through it. The ease of getting a payment from a customer was amazing. We are going to upgrade to the full suite.
