200 pound odd for 14 days cover the fees they charge arnt what they state ,their system doesn't recognize dates ,so you end up having to pay another day ,day light scammers avoid

My experience with GoSkippy’s renewal…

My experience with GoSkippy’s renewal process and customer service experience was poor. I had declined to take out the renewal as they had changed my premium renewal rate twice for no clear reason. I did not have auto renewal set up but received a letter stating that they could not take payment. When I called in it was clear that they word the letter in such a way to worry people into renewing quickly. I politely attempted to suggest this but was fobbed off and my call directed to a manager - I couldn't hold on any more so dropped but in fairness they called me back and passed on the message of 'clarification'.

My experience with GoSkippy’s customer service was extremely poor. The representatives were unhelpful, rude and belligerent . As a result, I was unable to resolve my issue, and I would not recommend this company based on my extremely poor encounter .

I’ve just had the worst experience with…

I’ve just had the worst experience with this company absolutely traumatising. I’ve recorded the entire experience and I will upload it to every social media platform for people to see how these guys are scam artists. You can hear the scammers in the background chatting away while they make you wait on call for an hour and pretending they can’t hear you. They have taking £500 from me and now looking to cancel my insurance. They are scammers

Insuring a car twice on the same dates

I received a notification that my car insurance was due for renewal, so I went ahead and renewed it. I assumed the dates would align with my existing policy, so I didn’t double-check them before confirming. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, and I’ve now ended up with two policies running at the same time.

This has resulted in me insuring the same car with the same company, on overlapping dates, for a period of 12 days. I understand this situation isn’t ideal, and I’m concerned as I believe having duplicate cover like this may not be appropriate.

I feel that GoSkippy should have made the policy dates clearer, or taken steps to prevent a duplicate policy being set up in this way.

They cancelled my insurance after…

They cancelled my insurance after assuring me that it wouldn’t cancelled as I gave them all the documents they asked for and spent over an hour on the phone to them only be told the following that my insurance. So not only do I now need to declare that I’ve had insurance cancelled but I also need to wait for them to refund me before I can take out another policy. So I’m off the road for 4 days now and still no refund. Incompetence to the highest degree. Would avoid and they come across like some scammers

I have recently joined GoSkippy, from a previous provider, as they could not match GoSkippys insurance price.

Set up was easy. Well laid out website and information boxes made making decisions about my desired policy easier to make.
