I already had an estate agent to sell my house, more the pity. However I contacted these guys to buy a bungalow and it was completed last week. They were more help than my estate agents who I was paying. Jo was outstanding and pushed the completion through to the end despite numerous obstacles , one being my buyer. But we got there in the end after a very stressful two weeks prior to completion.
I used Gower Dawes to market and sell my late Father In Laws property in Tilbury.
As this was in probate and given the sensitive nature of the sale I have been extremely impressed with the respect and professionalism the team has employed during this difficult time.
Although the sale to completion took longer than it should have, this was solely down to the incompetence of my conveyancing solicitor, Gower Dawes remained proactive throughout, keeping me informed regularly and working with me at all times. This I have found over the years as a rare occurrence with many estate agents who normally have proved unable to return calls and stay on top of the selling/buying process and seem to let the client do as much of the chasing work as possible.
Gower Dawes has proved to be an exception to that and I would like to make a special mention to Jo Herbert (sales progression team) for her patience and tenacity in dealing with incompetence from other parties and her pleasant and engaging telephone manner. Tom Dawes & Jordan Kay also deserve credit and it would be unfair not to mention Roxanne Britto. All in all a great team!

I completed on Friday as a FTB which was quite a nerve-racking, tense and challenging journey. The support of Jo and Jordan was great from the onset. Jo, really supported me at each step and was always at the end of the phone when the need was presented. It was nice to do business with people who were kind and showed humanism. This was my experience. I was given cute little box and an information pack when i collected the keys which was a nice touch. It also gave me guidance for my next steps! An all round good Estate agent- I would recommend and use them again for any future business.
