Absolutely Excellent Trainers!

I am happy to take this opportunity to fully endorse Guy and Suzanne Masterson at Pureland Security for their professionalism and expertise in a recent BIT and Basic Pistol certification training. Guy and Suzanne are excellent trainers! They have a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to share - not only during the training but afterwards too! In my “day job”, I work with very vulnerable populations such as victims of domestic violence, child abuse and human trafficking. Guy and Suzanne recognize the importance of me being able to help those who are vulnerable with the opportunity to be empowered and confident in their abilities to safely own and use a firearm. I have heard from many women that they feel too overwhelmed to learn about firearms, safety and personal protection. It can also very intimidating for women to get involved in what has “traditionally” been a male dominated area of interest and sport. Suzanne and Guy have been very understanding, encouraging and supportive of my goals and efforts to provide training for both new comers and women. Since the training, I have received valuable feedback, assistance and advice. They are always very accommodating and helpful as I pester them with a billion questions! I look forward to having and maintaining a long term relationship as I embark on my training adventures! Thank you guys!!

Thank you for sharing such great perspective and for your amazing review, Shannon! You can do wonderful things for those you train, by your patience and knowledge concerning lives that are recuperating from harm. It is a privilege for us to bring successful instructional methodology to people like yourself, who are enthusiastic to apply such empowerment with awareness of what it can mean to your students. It is a life changing counsel that brings a person up out of disbelief to the clear use of our firearm rights. Your traveling in from afar, for instructor training that meets your quietly stringent standards, shows your dedication. We are here for those who are particular for the sake of purpose, about what influences they absorb. If you get it done wrong, distorted by machismo, condescension or ego - maybe you carry that to your students, or have a lot to filter in salvaging and applying the useful parts of the program. When the fare is safe on all levels and from all angles, free from distortion and all forms of 'Think attack,' the holiday travel occasion one makes to attend pays off in a smorgasbord of digestible sourcing.

"NOWZGOOD" (Now Is Good!) becomes a person's, family's and work-team's timing for an important increase in gun knowledge when actual danger looms. Meaningful relief occurs on the range, as protective sense comes together quick, NOW, facing circumstances that could produce threat-stopping necessity. Nick, thank you for your nice review! Guy blended in for you, along with CCP certification, an amount of what we at Elephant Mountain call our, NOWZGOOD Contract, which prepares people safely, to be ready to protect as soon as possible. Glad you felt our services were suitable, and that you have come through the pinch that made you decide to be prepared.

Professionalism and Excellence in Firearms Training

Course: NRA BIT & Basics of Pistol Shooting ILT

Having spent time with the US Coast Guard in a maritime law enforcement unit, I've taken my fair share of firearms training by various quality instructors. I can say without hesitation that I was very impressed and pleased with the NRA Instructor Training provided by Guy and Suzanne Masterson from Pureland Security (NRA Training Division of Elephant Mountain Firearms Training). This is the kind of hard to come by quality-training aimed to grow individuals into their potential by providing them with the right instruction, tools, and resources.

The communication with PS was excellent from start to finish. Guy and Suzanne were very attentive and responsive throughout the certification process, answering questions and providing follow-up via emails and over the phone. The classroom portion of the training was dynamic, well-timed, and the instructor candidates were encouraged to participate actively in a positive environment. The range activities were no exception to the well-structured course. The instructors promoted an environment of safety allowing you to remain focused and relaxed before, during, and after the qualification shooting. The one-on-one interaction with Guy during this phase was very valuable, as he provided the instructor candidates with feedback and advice to help troubleshoot and sharpen their shooting skills. The two days of training were long and intense, with plenty of information to digest, but well worth it.

I highly recommend Pureland Security to anyone looking for high-quality firearms training in a good learning environment, offered by knowledgeable professionals committed to safety and to the culture of liberty.

It takes years to amass the kind of…

It takes years to amass the kind of knowledge Guy Masterson has to offer and it’s takes even more experience to be able to teach that knowledge in such a clear and concise way that the student understands. My experience with guy was more than what I expected; and within a few short hours I was able to gain the confidence I was lacking. Missed targets turned into tight shot groups, shaking hands turned into a steady flow… Chaos turned into calm. Sometimes, all you need is the right person with the right set of skills to train you.

Thanks again Mr. Masterson, we’ll see you again out on the range.

Refuse to be a victim class

I took the Refuse to be a victim class, And am so glad I did. It was very informative. And free to take. I would like to see that it's advertised alot more so more people are aware of it. As I was not until my mom talked me into going with her.

Defensive Pistol Refresher- AWESOME

I took both of their classes and it was so worth it! I feel so much more comfortable handling pistols. The teachers went over the laws in detail which was very helpful. Going out to the range, they taught us how to defensively use our pistols as well as answering any questions we had. Love this company!
