Headline & Pinyard…

We arranged a viewing of the headline with Deanne, she couldn’t have been more accommodating. She showed us lots of options & made time on the same day to take us to Pinyard as well. She’s helped with finding us a flat to rent within 2 weeks of needing to move in. Very excited for our move!

I rented with Grainger for 6 years, with 0 issues what so ever! What a great landlord and management team they were. Whenever anything needed fixing it was done ASAP! I could easily get in touch and honestly, I’ve just had a lovely experience. The staff at The Rock, Bury were extremely welcoming and made you feel so safe! I think it will be very hard to come across such a great renting landlord again! Thank you so much!

Overall a great experience with Grainger

We have lived at Kings Dock Mill for over four years. Having lived in various private rentals before, I would recommend to anyone to rent with Grainger. I have marked it down slightly as it is a little more expensive than some private rentals and as loyalty is not rewarded (e.g. when price increases are implemented yearly, there is no discount for longer-standing tenants).

Luke Pollard is, however, an exemplary staff member at Grainger. He is very approachable and responsive to both email and phone calls. He will work to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

King's Dock Mill

I have lived at King's Dock Mill about one year now. The apartment is very nice and Luke Pollard has been extremely helpful and very responsive. The building is kept clean and maintenance issues have been fixed quickly. The concierge people are wonderful and helpful. Overall, a nice, safe place to live. I do think that the common areas could be made nicer though. The three courtyards would be more community-friendly with plants and benches.

Luke pollard review

I have been in contact with Luke Pollard in regards to my flat and moving. He’s been absolutely brilliant could’ve have asked for anymore from him. He always replies to emails on time and couldn’t do anything more to help. He’s made the move as easy as it could’ve been and any issues are addressed promptly without issue. Couldn’t ask for anyone better for support with my property.

Lived at kings dock mill for a year Luke from Grainger has been amazing thoughout our time here, very helpful. Repairs and issues responded to quickly amazing customer service. Loved our time here so sad to be leaving.

I lived in an apartment on The Rock

I lived in an apartment on The Rock, Bury for almost 9 years - in that time I had nothing but good experiences dealing with Grainger. Any queries or repair requests were treated with upmost urgency and I was always kept updated on progress. They even have a mobile app to report issues and view news updates regarding events and such within the area which was very helpful.

I'd like to give my thanks to the Grainger team but especially Louise (manager) and Ian (maintenance) as they were very helpful and made my tenancy feel even more pleasant and stress-free.

Scam Company!!!!!!!!!

Scam Company – Dishonest, Manipulative, and Unsafe

This place is a total scam. They’ll take your money, ignore your concerns, then harass you if you report anything. Staff are fake, cliquey, and hostile. Maintenance is a joke — our fridge was broken for months and instead of fixing it, they blamed us repeatedly. My toilet took 2 months to repair, and even then it was done poorly.

They pretend to be professional in emails, but call and text you constantly to avoid leaving a record. Security is practically nonexistent — they cut it down right after an attempted break-in that they hid from residents.

Good reviews? Mostly bribed by previous management. Avoid this place at all costs. It's unsafe, unprofessional, and completely untrustworthy.

The Rock Apartments

Lived in The Rock apartments for almost 3 years and had to only move due to change of circumstances with a child on the way and relocating. 😃

Louise (Manager) Ian (maintenance) and Tony (communal cleaner) were all really nice & helpful. Made my time in The Rock apartments even better 😃

No problems what so ever. Deposit back with the bare minimum taken. Only £65 overall and that was only for light cleaning issues (struggled to throughly do it all properly myself with being heavily pregnant) as well as a rough filler job I did on the walls - understandable. £655 back out of £720; cannot complain.

Lovely staff, & lovely place to live - especially a first home.

Every issue I had with the oven markings not being on - replaced with new oven. Had an issue with the washer not drying my clothes properly - replaced with another. Then had an Issue then with a drum of the washer - again replaced with another. Other little issues were also sorted out promptly.

The Grainger living app to report the issues are a really good way of getting stuff sorted promptly as you log it then contractors contact you to sort the problem.

Only problem are the thieves that manage to get in to take parcels (play on their disabilities expecting people to open doors for them - just for them to take people’s parcels). The odd inconsiderate people letting their children use the hallways as a playground, screaming; running; banging on doors etc. That’s the tenants issues though and gets sorted when you’re firm enough with the culprits 😃

this is how they allow a 83 year old disabled woman who is recovering from multiple strokes live in there property and refuse to do any of structural repairs is has been an on going issue of lack of maintenance over multiple years and would rather use all there resources to evict her

Grainger PLC - Property Investment Company

Everything you would expect from a greedy corporate landlord that are making the most of the cost of living and housing crisis with bigger yearly profits for shareholders and the CEO.

They even had rent increases during the lockdown/pandemic and didn't even bother to ask if any of the tenants in the block where I rented a studio (St Anne's - Brighton) were okay during that time. Also the only people allowed to continue working during the pandemic were the builders (Focus Group) as the block was still being renovated and they let themselves in without calling before hand. They weren't wearing masks and I only realised when I wanted to use the bathroom that they had let themselves in. They just looked at me is if I had disturbed them working and I had to wait until they finished so I could use the toilet.

In addition, the property management staff I dealt with on their 6 month inspections seemed to be on a power trip acting as if they actually own the property. Then they withheld much of the deposit for unknown reasons.

Basically the demand for rental properties is so high Grainger PLC take advantage and this trickles down to the property managers because there's an endless supply of tenants.

Pathetic and possibly the worst landlord (property investment company) in the UK.
