Avoid at All Costs!!…
Booked to return to the Grand Princess after already going in 2022, had a lovely Honeymoon there.
Was not impressed is an under statement: Upgraded to Platinum Suite and the round bed, extremely uncomfortable, bad back aches every morning.
Had to ask the maid to change the bedding as this was not being done.
Food definitely hit and miss, best restaurant is II Tartufo, all the others avoid rather than being disappointed upon booking.
Was given blue NEW towels, took them to the beach, and they dyed my husbands new shorts and my new Bikini. Went to Platinum lobby to complain, only to be sent to front desk, once complained the lady(unfortunately cannot remember her name), laughed as she thought it funny my husbands top part of his leg had also been dyed BLUE from their towels!!! I stated to her that i definitely don't think this is funny, was not amused with the way this was dealt with!!
Brochures states a lovely clean beach, when it should say so much seaweed that you cannot physically get into the sea! Attempted to walk over the mounds to get in sea and the seaweed was smelly, rough (cut my toe attempting this), and full of flies. Complained so many times, lost track of how may tbh. Even asked for a spade to dig at least a path to get into sea, was told not allowed as your on your vacation.
Hotel has DEFINITELY gone down hill, with staff unfriendly and rude, had to ask for Tea Bags in the room, they didnt understand a word i said. Grounds are kept nice and tidy by the hard working groundsmen.
Platinum service only allowed us to enter PBG restaurant, this is ok, service good, attentive, food not bad.
Would not recommend this Hotel. Staff require more training to be helpful, chefs need to know hot to cook properly and front of desk, i have no words for their rudeness!!
Day of my husband and myself leaving, the beach was being cleared up!!! RUDE
