The fact that Grassfields is now having their models dance in bikinis on Oxford Street is a warning sign of how low this business will go.
My order took two months to arrive despite repeated promises from them about its delivery. When it finally came, the item was too big and had a flaw. On their website it says they only do exchanges, but I’m not interested in doing any further business with them, so I had to go through PayPal to get my money back.

Awful company.
Don't send products.
Don't accept mistakes or delays or show care for customers.
Delete critical comments from Instagram.
Don't be fooled by the nice designs. Avoid at all costs.

I could have sewn the clothes myself in this time. I could also have sent it to my tailor to see the same design at a fraction of the cost. But no, I thought "let me support a black owned business" and 3 months later I'm still waiting on my order.

Having communicated numerous times, no refund has been given and no update as to where the order is. Instead, new social media posts constantly reminding me of the order I have not recieved.

I whole heartedly echo everything the most recent reviews have stated; BEWARE AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Scam, scam, scam……please avoid doing business with this company. I placed an order with them in May and still haven’t received it. Please do not be fooled by their models on Instagram or their posts. Grassfields should be reported to the ombudsman as yet again, they are scammingg their customers.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES PLACE AN ORDER WITH THEM.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I placed an order on 29th May as part of their "warehouse sale". I was a little taken aback that as soon as I placed the order it told me that I wouldn't receive my items for 3-4 weeks, mostly because the sale was promoted as shifting overstock which I thought meant they had everything available to ship, and also that seems significantly longer than almost any other company I've ever ordered from where the items aren't bespoke. Regardless, I was happy with being made aware of this and then put it to be back of my mind. When the items didn't arrive, I contacted the team on 18th June via DM on Instagram. Their response was that there was a delay due to a logistics challenge and that I could expect the items in 2 weeks. Whilst I wished they had been proactive with that update, I was happy to know I'd have my items soon went back to patiently waiting. 8th July they still hadn't replied so I reached out again and was told something very similar.

As of now 12th August, I still don't have any items and no updates from the business. They are deleting all of their bad comments on IG despite there clearly being hundreds of people in the same position as me. I have raised a chargeback with my bank as Grass Fields are no longer replying to me and haven't told me how to cancel my order. The bank have deemed this a successful claim so I finally have my money back and I suggest you do the same if you were unfortunate enough to place an order. If you haven't yet placed an order, don't.

Do not waste your time or money. They do not have products to sell. I bought in early May and never got my order. I waa forced to start a dispute for a refund via PayPal in order to get my money back, and was successful. Do not wait to file a dispute with PayPal or credit card providers. And if you haven’t bought yet, spend your money elsewhere!

Grassfields still do not know how to run a business.
I decided to give grassfields a chance again after they got their business back- this has proved to be a massive mistake.
Grassfields stated that they had lots of surplus stock and as a result, they were doing a sale in order to make way for new designs, so I placed an order on the 29th May. 10 weeks later, still no order. All I have received is generic email responses about shipping issues in Nigeria which to be quite frank, is not my problem as a paying customer.
How embarrassing is it for grassfields to relaunched thier business (after previously loosing it due to thier lack of ability to run and sustain a business) before making sure they are able to fulfill orders and regain customer confidence.
I'm truly appalled, it's even more disappointing that this is a black business that I wanted to support.
Christelle you have the cheek to being doing up influencer life on your Instagram page and offering advice on how to be productive when you can't even successfully run your own business- the irony of this is hilarious.
I have now started a claim via PayPal

I bought items from them last week. I paid through Pay Pal. The company never confirmed the order. They never advised me whether they have dispatched the item or not. No tracking number. They have no customer service contact details. I had to search on their Instagram account. On line they promise to deliver in 2-3days. When I finally sent an email to them they told me I should expect my order in 3weeks. The contact phone number on their website now. I think they put it now after my complaint to them. It is a fake number. 00457873727 is not a UK number. I tried it a million times. Scammers please be warned.

Disgusting professionalism! No updates to customers despite a huge delay in fulfilling orders. Constantly having to chase the company by email and Instagram message just to get an update. A lot of messages sent to the company get ignored or deleted from their social media and when they do reply they lie about the order being fulfilled and shipped. I've been sent the same exact message 3 times, all promising that I will recieve my order that week and then I don't get any more updates. It is disgusting that the owners are posting constant content with their models and advertising their clothing but yet ignore and fail to fulfil current orders. Waiting 9 weeks for an order is unacceptable and it is disrespectful to not have the decency to update buyers. This act feels like a scam and fraud! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

The audacity to ask for our support and then scam us. So sad and disappoiting!
Been waiting for my order two months now. They are erasing all my comments and lying about the shipping.
I just want them to be expose really bad because they don’t deserve customers.
They are posting regularly about sales when they know really well that they don’t ship the items.

Please all the ladies that have been scammed write, post, do tik tok,… I posted something on tik tok.

There are other brands that maybe deserve more exposure. So don’t let them win!

UPDATE: I received my order today 7/29. Ironically 2 months to the day that I ordered. It arrived in new condition and it is indeed what I ordered. It’s a beautiful jacket!! However, it’s not enough for me to ever trust ordering from them again, unfortunately.

I REALLY wish I could give this post a minus something because at this point this company is playing in our faces. They keep deleting my posts on IG so here I am. I ordered on May 29th 2024 what was supposed to be OVERSTOCK items that they wanted to clear so that they could launch their new line. It’s July 20th. No order, they created a ship label almost a month ago, still no order. I Really wanted to see these sisters win so I immediately placed an order. I have YET to receive my items. I’ll be honest and say that they have NEVER ignored my emails (I’ve emailed them 3 times and they messaged me once on IG) so I’ve been giving them the benefit of the doubt. If the reasons they haven’t shipped are truly legitimate why not make that a post on IG then folks like me won’t continue showing up on every post asking for either our items or our money back. (They keep deleting the comments of people complaining about their orders).

It’s hard for me to keep seeing them announcing sales and people running to buy when they aren’t shipping to the folks that have already ordered. They need to shut down and get their house in order, they have to know this isn’t going to end well for them. Had they done right by me they would have had a customer for life and I’m sure dozens of others would likely say the same. Just come out and say what’s REALLY going on Grass Fields 😩

I ordered from them in the past before they lost the business and my items came within 2 weeks. Now, in 2024 in May they were having a sale. I placed an order on May 30th and June 6th. It’s now July 17th and I have not received tracking, or my items. I have reached out to the company many times without a response. The other day they DM me on Instagram stating that they experienced a shipping issue coming out of Nigeria. Still have not received anything and I placed two separate orders. The people that took over their business previously accused them of living lavishly and stealing from the business. It’s frustrating because before they lost their company they shipped out what was ordered. Now it appears they are back to collecting peoples money and not delivering. I would not order or support them until you see legitimate evidence that they are delivering the products that people pay for.

If I could rate this company less than one star I would.

What I thought was supporting a "black owned business" was actually just paying into a scam. I placed my order on the 29th May and have still not received my order (today's date 10th July).

I ordered two months ago, still haven’t received anything. I only get new stories about how the shipping will take longer and longer. Getting a refund is like pulling teeth.

I intentionally purchase, from black owned businesses, as much as I can. Solidarity and support from our community is key to success. This company makes it very difficult to have faith in my people. I purchased an item on 5/31. Today is 7/9, and I still haven’t received. I got hopeful when GF printed a shipping label on 6/28, but the DHL confirmed that the package was never given to them. I have sent multiple emails inquiring on status and asking for a refund, with now, no response. I will be filing a claim with my bank and spreading the word of the poor, poor level of service.

This company is a joke! They lost their business, got it back and still no improvement. I placed an order a month ago in their sale, got confirmation of order and nothing since. No communication and all is quiet on their instagram page, but one of the sisters (owners) is posting on her personal page and seems to be enjoying life and giving away free ebooks.

I will be contacting my bank to get my money back. What a scam!!! Stay away

Still no items, I made contact with them and all I keep getting is excuses and it’s always someone else’s fault. They offered to refund the delivery fee, I asked them when I would get it and no reply. So I decided to contact my bank and make a claim.

They are now reposting previous posts with 50% off and they have deleted all the bad comments.

Really wanted to support this company. I have contacted the company over ten times, regarding a £70 credit note I received in January 2024 as the code is not working. The owners continue to ignore my emails, direct messages and comments under their post. Despite replying to every other comment and blatantly ignoring mine. Absolutely zero customer care. I’m honestly beyond disgusted.

I just got a customer email today announcing this company is back in operation. I usually don’t write these kinds of things but since this company has re-opened, I have to add to the warnings. I ordered from them in 2022 when they said they were closing and really needed support…well it seems more like they needed to raise money by any means and that also meant sending out completely faulty garments. For my good deed of supporting them in their tough time I received two completely unwearable (final sale) garments. One dress was so bad it was like a size 0 on top and a 10 on the bottom. It was comically obvious that they seem to have done a money grab using whatever leftover clothes they had left no matter the quality. I will NEVER shop from here again. If you got the “we’ve reopened” emails today too, be warned!

DO NOT FREAKING SEND THIS COMPANY A CENT!!! What a damn joke!!! I’m soooo pissed!! I’m sick of being scammed. There’s a special place in hell for these people!!

Scam website!
Item was poor quality so I returned. It was delivered but they have not issued a refund. No response no emails, website queries or instagram messages. I am reporting them to trading standards. Thieves!
