-Gravity Active (Stevenage) trampoline

-Gravity Active (Stevenage) trampoline park is ridiculously overpriced for tickets in the first instance and requires a parent who is supervising their child on the trampoline floor to purchase a separate overpriced ticket also. Other companies state a much more reasonable price (half the price!) for a combined parent and child ticket.
-Additionally, upon arrival, staff demand the purchase of gravity branded socks, despite customers having already purchased perfectly adequate trampoline socks from a separate company.
-Information email states to arrive half an hour early for briefing and then there is no direction on arrival from staff regarding where to attend this briefing etc.
-The Trampolines, viewing area and toilets were visibly dirty and grubby!
Definitely do not recommend!

Severe delays and a very poorly run…

Severe delays and a very poorly run operation meant we couldn’t use the pass we bought. Ended up waiting >90 minutes for go karting and couldn’t book anything else. Customer service no help in resolving the issue.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They tell you it is from 18.45£ but then they charge you extra and it is not explained anywhere. When you try to call the customer service they are arrogant and not helpful. They will make you think you are in the wrong when basically they get more money and it is not mentioned anywhere in the breakdown

Don't bother its a drain of money and data mining.

Christ what a terrible experience. From the moment t we got in they wanted all the work down. Fill in forms. They data mine all your data. Email. Telephone numbers. Address. Dob. Cues massive for filling in forms on line. Then massive cue to get your wrist band. Costs of socks ridiculous as would let you use the older style socks although staff on trampolines were wearing old socks. Women rude on counter. 6 quid for a small slushy for 1 child. Lockers mostly broken had to leave unattended.

Gravity max Stratford very poor…

Gravity max Stratford very poor experience. VR headset fuzzy and wasn’t worth all 10 minutes you get . The floor is lava game the staff don’t allow you the full time. A golf screens not working so you walk around with a pencil and paper to keep score. Not enough staff. This was a trial day as my son wanted to have his birthday party here but this place is overrated and not worth it .

Lost £50 deposit because of Gravity website issues, Gravity team not at all understanding or fair.

I booked a birthday party at Gravity Stevange through Website. It gave options only to select the dates.I selected the date and paid (£50 as deposit). Only then in confirmed booking details page it gave the time as 7pm which would be too late for kids party. As soon I received the booking confirmation, i called the Gravity team - but they said the £50 is non-refundable and they don't have any availability closer to the dates. They were not all understanding and didn't offer any choices like vouchers or choice to use the £50 by bringing my own kids individually instead of party(group of 8). Finally I cancelled booking with a loss of £50 because of their website issues.

Gravity Maidstone today (06-05-24)

Gravity Maidstone today (06-05-24)
To say it was a health and safety nightmare is an understatement. It was an incredibly dangerous and poorly supervised situation.
There were far more children / participants than trampolines available, which meant at any given time there were multiple children per trampoline.
There were older teenagers in the ‘toddlers’ section and no supervision.
There were multiple children without wrist bands that I saw.
Participants were freely walking In and jumping whilst their parents ‘checked in’
I witnesses parents of young children leave the trampolines and sit down for a drink, whilst leaving young children, sometimes toddlers, bouncing on their own.
When our session finished, no one monitored to ensure all of the participants left the trampolines (which they didn’t) and when we were leaving 20 mins later, children with the same colour wrist bands were still jumping.
No ‘supervisors’ ever intervened when health and safety rules were being broken. They just stood on the side barely watching.
I was appalled and will not be visiting again. I will also be going further to speak of my concerns, as I truly believe a young children is going to be horrifically injured in a matter of time, if things continue this way. It was damn right dangerous.

The gloss was taken off the experience…

The gloss was taken off the experience by the staff insisting we wear their ‘branded’ socks, when we had the appropriate socks from elsewhere. It is not their fault it is management and owners fault. The t&c’s said only ‘approved’ socks could be worn and they would not approve them as the were not their brand but were exactly the same as theirs just a different colour. It’s a rip off, just another way to add further cost when it is costly enough to take kids places. Not so sure we would go again

Avoid at all costs-
Within ten minutes of the session my son had been told to walk normally three times by one member of staff whose name badge reads Yul in Leeds.

Disgusting that such a large brand has staff members who are unaware of firstly how to speak to children in an appropriate manner and secondly that are unaware of such traits when you claim to offer sessions specifically for SEN children.

Gravity socks or leave..

Visited today. Was there for the majority of the session. After 45 mins a member of staff approached my recently turned 3 year old daughter to tell her she had to leave as she didn't have Gravity socks on. She has pair of Gravity socks at home, but we accidentally picked up the wrong trampolining socks (with exactly the same grips as Gravity socks). Would have barely had any time left if we had to exit, buy more socks, and come back on. So we left. Very petty.

Not ready for opening..should be reduced rates or not open. Spent a lot of money going for my sons birthday ..couldn't even have a decent game of bowling as lights on lane not working complained but they would not refund. Go karting poor value for money not enough signs to explain pricing points. Some health and safety issues lots of maintenance guys around fixing things not a pleasant experience would not recommend

Incident occurred while my daughter…

Incident occurred while my daughter playing, a women shouted at my daughter to get clear from her son and said she shouldn't be running, first thing, it's a play area, next is she shouldn't bring her son if he's that delicate and the most important thing is not to shout at my daughter.
The main thing is the staff and management are completely useless ,as we identified the women, instead of confronting her with what she did, they reworded everything in a polite manner and completely changing what happened, instead of a warning they told her to be mindtul of other users.
So my advice to other parents is be vigilant of grumpy or over protective parents because the staff and management are incompetent only there to earn money.
My overall assessment is we will not be coming here again and will pass on my experience to close family and friends and mention to anyone through general conversation.
The only reason for the one star is that it won't let me post this review.

My children were invited to a party…

My children were invited to a party booking at Castleford Xscape branch. My daughter is SEN and even after mentioning all my concerns with her understanding and the safety agreements etc, they could not of been more friendly and understanding. Even offered to watch her round the trampolines for me to keep eye. Being her carer they allowed me on free of charge to keep eye also. Really impressed that they were so accommodating that we will return just us. Please thank your staff for me, especially the host that dealt with this party. Didnt catch her name but she had long brown hair, possibly 18-25 age. Thank you once again.

Extremely bad experience with the way…

Extremely bad experience with the way they manage the queue for go karting. Even after reaching 30 minutes before the session, which was advised in email, it was difficult to complete registration and make it for briefing. The queue was long and kiosks weren’t working. Their pre-registration option also doesn’t work and we were told by the customer care to register at gravity. Very bad experience!!!
