I asked my family to purchase two garden recliners for my birthday assuming they were of good quality & value. One of the chairs was faulty & I have been unable to contact this company. Having now further read the reviews I can see why this is the case as so many other customers have experienced the same difficulty. Disgraceful non-existent customer service.
Items customers have purchased that were faulty & no reply/resolve…do not purchase from gravitychairs to avoid disappointment.

If there was a minus 10 star, I would choose that. Totally disgraceful service and company. NO TELEPHONE NUMBER PROVIDED. Unreachable after selling the item. Very quick to sell and take money. WILL NEVER BOTHER IF ITEM TURNS OUT FAULTY. I dealt with Alex. Not sure if that is a true name. My chairs were faulty, missing accessories, etc. When trying the new chair, I fell off hitting myself on the patio. Dangerous design. When I wrote to them to arrange return for faulty products, Alex took weeks to respond, and each time making lame excuses, finally writing that they don't take back opened items. I wrote back, asking, how can I know about the fault until I open? I thought to myself.. What sort of a company takes months to and fro emailing to finally say this?
He never responded to my last email. Basically a con company. Shambolic! No decent company would treat their customers like this. Selling rubbish items and not offering any refunds or exchange. Stay away from this company and its people (or person).

Dreadful customer service. Refusing to replace or refund rusted chairs. Do not buy.

RUSTY after a few weeks. Do not buy. Contacted company who say that rust is not covered under warranty. Just couldn’t believe how quickly the rust appeared. Going to contact trading standards

RUST RUST! Do not buy. The coating is substandard. Iv been in the paint industry 36 years and i have never seen a powder coat so thin. After 3 outings of weekends the chairs are rusting to the base metal. On contacting the company they are unwilling to honour the warranty,claiming that the chairs my have been used outside. They are a camping chair? Trading standards contacted. DO NOT BUY!

Absolutely terrible. Do not buy from this company. Frame rusts after a few months. Terrible customer service offering no refund or replacement. They say there's a warranty, but there isnt, they say it doesnt cover rust. Warranty isnt worth anything. Going to report them to trading standards. Never felt so ripped off

My husband and I bought chairs from gravity chairs. They are meant to have a guarantee of one year and we've had it 9 months when we've noticed that they started to get damaged in places. We've contacted the store and the communication was not great from the start, but now it stopped completely! The issue is still not resolved. So when they say there's a guarantee, don't believe it. If you have any issues, the customer service is useless

Do not buy from this company.
After sales are useless contact is not possible after fourteen emails still no reply.
I have had to go down the credit card route.
Do not buy a Gravity Chair.

Do not use this company unless you want to buy chairs that rust almost instantly. Terrible paint quality and customer service just as bad.BUYER BEWARE

The construction of this product is very sturdy, the only problem is they are not supposed to be left outside otherwise they rust very quickly. I received a chair which came with rust, after an odd email exchange I did get to send them back and received a quick confirmation of refund, so I think you can trust these traders.

Ordered two chairs. Both had rust on the frame. Emailed the company and have heard nothing back. Wish I'd read the reviews here first! I am considering contacting my credit card company for a refund as well as making Trading Standards aware. Terrible company.

Awful company just ignore customers issues and take their money which never gets refunded. GB reviews negative but The rest all good doubt this is true. Chairs rust within few weeks and I can’t believe they have same star reviews with all issues. People can’t afford to not get refund for faulty goods. Do not buy.

Bought 2 chairs end of July. Both now full of rust. Like the other reviewer unable to get a response from company, despite emails, photos etching. The website clearing states can be left out all year. Will now be going down credit card company route as the Gravity Chairs have no intention of sorting this out. Very disappointed. Not recommended.

Placed an order on 20th July guaranteed next day delivery, its now the 22nd no sign of any chairs!
According to DPD they have received the order but no goods as of yet. I have contacted Gravity Chairs twice and have received no response. Very concerning am I going to even get the chairs?

Reveiws on the gravitychair.co.uk web site should be taked with a huge pinch of salt. I dont believe they are accurate, at least they are cherry picked. Many appear from the same date and no new reviews are added after weeks of watching dispite the numbers of people "looking to buy" when you are on the site.
As others have said here the chairs are going to rust so except this from the off. Make sure you clean them down before putting away and if paint scrapes touch up with paint and they should last a few years.

I received the chair last week, it was obviously used and scuffed. I emailed them 3 times …..as there is no phone number…….to request return information, I’ve heard nothing. The reviews on the site are obviously made up…..Priti Patel, Linda Grey, Clark Kent etc……There is no way to make contact, there is no phone number. I am now starting action in the Small Claims Court. Disgusting.

Customer service very good but the chairs are rubbish, they may be comfortable and easy to use but the paint job is crap, after just 1 shower there is rust everywhere, not only in the joints but right along the elastic webbing that joins to the frame, the chairs now look like very cheap rusty 10 year old seats yet they have only been used once.

Despite sending three emails requesting a return postage label, I have not heard back from this company. There is no telephone number on the website to call them.
I am posting this review with great reluctance, but see no other option
