The Amtrack rail trip and the cruise were top notch. I was truly impressed with the meals on the train, way above my expectations. The scenery on the cruise were absolutely amazing.

Smooth ride. Bedroom was newer than the Southwest Chief...which we greatly appreciated.
Food was delicious, roomette a little tight, beautiful views, even though observation car was always full. To slow through towns, makes for a long trip. Overall good experience. Only thing to change: add another observation car and move a bit faster.
